Not real sure what I am looking for here, so let us just start with a friendship and if something more springs from that then we can walk that road. I have been divorced for a while and I have 2 children living (son and daughter, 6 and 14). Just to be upfront, I will not be exposing them to anyone until I get to know you very well. My kids are where it is at for me and I take any and all opportunities to experience life with them. Having said that, I only have split custody so that leaves me some time to myself.
I am trying to let Jesus be my wheelman and I have been working on my relationship with him. It is not a perfect relationship as I struggle but I feel it is worth my effort. It would be nice if the person I am spending time with has an appreciation for this.
A little about me…I am a family man at heart. I think I am a fun guy. I have a good sense of humor and I have no problem laughing at myself (believe me, I do it more times than I can count every day). I love to laugh, but have a serious side. I am adventurous, but love time at home. I can be a bit reserved at first, but try to quickly adapt. I am flawed, but I try. I have recently realized that I actually enjoy exercise, crazy right? I like all kinds of music (my favorite band at the moment is NeedToBreathe). I love to read (currently reading Crazy Love). I like sports, but I do not really like watching them on TV. I do not enjoy clubs; they have never been my scene. I enjoy seeing live events (concerts, sports, plays, etc.). I enjoy the outdoors (hiking, camping, etc.) and I am trying to take more time to experience it. I am not a hunter but I love to shoot (I am not against hunting, just not really ever done much of it and would love to try it out, want to take me?)…
