So I have no idea what deep and introspective things will give you an insight into who I am, so I'll just start with the basics. My name is Matthew and I'm 29. I'm originally from California and moved out here about five years ago. I'm really close with my family so I try to make it back to Cali every couple months. I always tell the truth so ask me anything. I love old movies and could spend the entire day watching them. I have two French Bulldogs, I love pie and tend to overuse butter when cooking. I'm a total foodie so if you're not down with sushi and trying new restaurants, then you're not down with me. I workout but am much happier getting out and being active in order to keep in shape. I think everything is funny even at inappropriate moments. I think warm cookies and cold milk are a perfectly acceptable meal at any time of the day. I volunteer at church, play softball and love going out to baseball games. I carry my air guitar with me wherever I go, but my air drums sometimes get a little heavy. I want to learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
So what am I looking for in a girl? Everything. I want a girl that knows what she wants in life and works hard to get it. I want someone who is strong and independent but loves when I take care of her. I want someone that doesn't mind getting a little dirty but likes to put on a dress and paint the town red occasionally. Someone that is kind and honest and uses their smile to lift up those around them. A best friend, someone to laugh with even if it's just because I have something on my face. I'm not sure if my girl really exists, but if you're out there; I'm gonna find you and treat you better then anyone's ever treated you.

I'm not in Kansas anymore, which to me I guess means I'm a ways from home. I'm ok with not being in Pittsburgh, but miss the vibe and my friends and family from my other former homes Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Being a career-oriented guy has had me moving for opportunity, which brought me to Phoenix. Since moving here I've worked a lot, found a home, gotten a dog, and hopefully being on here will help me meet someone to share my life with.
I haven't been the most successful guy with relationships in the past which I think is a combination of chasing the wrong girls and not opening myself up to the really good ones that have come along. To me school and my job have been huge challenges and taken a lot of my time, energy, and focus away from focusing on other important parts of life.
That said I'm not the most confident or experienced guy, but hopefully someone can overlook that if they find other things about me to like. Aside from anything too crazy I'm down for anything and I'm paying on the first couple dates and am open to many different activities and sports. Some say I'm good at everything but in reality I'm just well rounded in life.
I'm ok with meeting up and being friends with anyone. But for someone to meet and spend time with in a dating sense id prefer someone in or near the same stage of life in that they are out on their own and have a career going. At first, attraction and common interests are all that matter. I'm not a shopper and don't believe in the fishing with dynamite approach to meeting people so I'm not on here too too much. I'm doing ok on my own with my close friends but hopefully by putting myself out there I’ll get to meet someone to have fun with.

Someone that wants to be around me as much as I want to be around them, that I can hold an intelligent conversantion and just have fun with.

Meet a guy from Arizona, United States. Hi there! I'm Justin. Just moved to the Phoenix area after spending ten years in the US Air Force. It was a great experience that allowed me to travel all over the world and meet a lot of interesting people, but after giving it a lot of thought I decided it was time for a change. Moved back home to Texas, but after a few months living there I landed a great job here and just recently made the move.

I graduated from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers) and moved to Arizona to pursue teaching. I spent the first two years of teaching on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Northern Arizona. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. It taught me a lot about life, culture, and about myself. I grew a lot and to be honest it has helped shape me into who I am today. After spending time there my morals and values really changed to where they fit me and weren't what other people told me to have or believe in.
Honesty and trustworthiness is the most important thing to me when it comes to family, friends, and dating. If there is no honesty then there is no trust, and usually I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but once someone has lost my trust it takes a lot to get it back. I look at it this way, since I am a trustworthy and honest person, I expect those around me to be the same.
