Meet a boy from United States. So how to summarize myself....I am a Christian man who is in a daily pursuit of a real and tangible relationship with God. I am by no means perfect or better than anyone else and I am grateful for God's daily grace and patience. I know this sounds super religious but know that this is coming from a person who truly does not like religion but loves God and loves people and I try my best to make it more based on relationships.
So that is priority number one. After that next on my list are my two beautiful children. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and their mother and I share joint custody with no crazy ex drama. They are amazing and I cherish each and every moment I get to spend with them. What ever they are doing, I am as well. If they are running/crawling through the grass I am right there besides them. If it is time to go to the park (which happens just about once a day when I have them) and time to hit the slides I am right there behind them or with them sitting on my lap. I love playing with them. I am not the dad that "watches" them from the couch. I absolutely hate when dad's refer to playing and growing with their children as "babysitting". I am never a baby sitter, I am always a dad and it is a true blessing, joy, super frustrating, and hard with many hair pulling moments but I wouldn't have it any other way!
So once those two priorities are meet with the time that is left I try to spend it with people, family, friends etc. I enjoy doing pretty much anything outdoors whether that be camping, hiking, a scuba dive in Lake Pleasant or taking my 2 year old English mastiff, Maggie to the dog park. I love to have people over to my house for a BBQ. Pretty much the more the merrier. Nothing is better than having a bunch of people over, being outside, grilling with a cold beer in hand and a ton of laughs. Some of my other favorites NY style pizza (you can keep the Chicago garbage), trying a new beer, running, this is a love hate relationship. I have run a half marathon and also completed a tough mudder race in January in Mesa. I love to run with a bunch of people but have a hard time keeping my mind engaged after about mile 6 when I am by myself.
I know who I am and am confident in myself. Not cocky, but confident. I by no means need a relationship to get my strength, purpose or definition, but I can enter into one to offer it. I am looking for someone who is of the same mind set.
I love to play different sports whether it is a pickup game of soccer with friends or maybe a little ultimate frisbee. And I love watching my 49ers, but I am still a little bitter over the NFC Championship game so let's not talk too much about that right now :)
