I am a firm believer in everything in moderation. I do not smoke cigarettes. I'm pretty strong/fit and love to be physically active. I do use more holistic remedies these days, and I use food as medicine. Its amazing how many foods have what our bodies need to heal themselves if you know what to pick. I try to pick healthy choices in most everything I do, (although my friends Ben and Jerry sometime make it home with me).
Any live concert is great, working around the yard and house is great, any opportunity to hike and working my dogs are important. Would love if we shared hiking, watching sports, going to car shows or museums and long jacuzzi sessions. If there is a possibility we could be creating music together I would be eternally happy, I love to write my own lyrics and melodies. If I am singing in public you have to be the non-jealous type, I hate drama and am pretty low key and easy going myself.
I am a certified Scuba Diver, love anything water related especially fishing, and can get down and dirty with the boys but become all woman at a moments notice.

Date a soulmate from United States. Who am I? Basically, I'm the girl next door. I'm old fashioned, I guess, in that I actually enjoy dating, getting to know a man well, and liking him before we become intimate. I've been told I am pretty (in a Doris Day , Diane Keeton sort of way), look younger than my age (thanks to my Dad's DNA), and I work out several times a week to stay healthy and in shape. I'd like to live to be 100 so I exercise regularly and try and eat as healthy as possible. I taught elementary school for 37 years and was a dedicated teacher, but now I am retired and ready to enjoy life (no more deadlines, kids, or papers to grade!). I'm financially secure, own my own home, and have no children. I was married for 10 years in my twenties and fully expected to marry again and have a family, but I guess that just wasn't in the cards. I've had several long term relationships over the years, but obviously none were with the man I wanted to spend my life with.
I like to stay busy. Besides the gym, I enjoy walking/hiking, the outdoors, bicycling (on flat bike paths like at the beach), and dancing. I enjoy my house and garden, reading, and my cats (are you allergic?). Recently, I've taken a new interest in cooking-healthy cooking. One of my favorite dates is to plan and cook a meal together, drink a little wine, and enjoy the meal on my patio. I'm a bit of a homebody, but I also like to get out and explore. I'd love to meet a man who would like to do some traveling with me and explore. There is so much to do in LA, California, the USA and abroad!
