I love warm weather and doing things outside which contributed to my decision to move to Phoenix. I'm from Texas and am a huge UT fan. I have played soccer since I was 5 and play indoor now a couple times a week. I pretend to be a runner, but really I just do it to keep in shape. I have run the Chicago marathon and I just did the Tough Mudder a few weeks ago. I have a soft spot for animals...especially puppies. I like surprises, hate to be tickled, and my eyes change colors depending on my mood. I am stubborn, but my weakness is a cute smile. I love to travel and did all of my clinical rotations for school in different states so I could explore the US a little before entering the "real world".

My relationship with Jesus is the most important thing in my life and try to live everyday for him, to love people through his eyes and to make a difference in the world. I trip and fall all the time when it comes to this, but his mercy and grace allows me to wake up the next day and start new. I'm drawn to psychology, science, politics, and anything that peers into the big "everything". I am sort of a grammar snob as well. Conversationally, I feel the need to engage in intellectual conversation (much more so than gossip or complaining). I'd like to meet someone that feels like they are learning from me and I am learning from them. I'd like someone I could have these conversations with, that won't just stare at me like I'm crazy or make me contemplate if they've had a lobotomy. However, that is not to say that I don't have two sides, because although there's that element to my personality, I'm often quirky and sarcastic and engage in nonsensical conversations which cause me to crack up, and on rare occasion literally fall down laughing like a small child.
People who know me might describe me as eccentric, caring, silly, intellectual, introspective, witty, conversationalist, honest (sometimes brutally) politically active, awesome, ambitious, Type A (negative side effects of Type A personality may include occasional "stressed outness", stubborn nature, and slight neurosis, yes sad but true lol)
I would like to meet a guy that I could have witty/silly dialogue with and that is comfortable with or often finds themselves laughing out loud...and not just typing it in shorthand texting.
