I love the outdoors and love to spend my weekends hiking, mountain biking or fishing. I am currently working on my graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems, which is consuming most of my life, but its fun and something I am really interested in. What else might you want to know? I love to read; aside from text books, I'm reading The Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy (The whole series). My favorite books are Fool by Christopher Moore and Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. As for music, my favorites are The White Stripes (or anything Jack White is in really), Black Keys, Cake, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Beck. Alternative rock, and a lot of country. If you really want to know my favorite music, type White Stripes into Pandora, and don't thumbs up or down anything... best station ever!

Since I have been thinking about a committed relationship for almost a year now, I think I’m to a point of being able to have some idea of what I am looking for and how I want to live life after leaving home.
Yes, I still live at home. One reason for this is I want the social interaction of family. I want to come home from work and share our day’s events with each other. It’s that, for lack of a better word, “home community” that  is important to me. It gets another brain in on problems and leads into intellectual conversation of all kinds, how the automobile handles, what new technology is out there, how computers are doing, the history of narrow gauge railroads in Colorado, new modeling techniques, etc. The list is endless. I am interested in everything. It is having someone to have quality conversation that requires thought.
So I’ve covered why I’m still living at home, not to mention the time savings, the financial savings and increased quality of life.
As far as time savings, we share household responsibilities and though I can cook and do other domestic chores, I do not have to all the time, so I am able to work on cars, fix, build, and do maintenance and repairs on virtually anything and everything around the house. Mechanics is my thing, I also do carpentry, plumbing and electrical. I have so many interests that I have an endless list of projects I would like to do.
