My free time is usually spent outdoors wherever that happens to be. I have always been a bit on the creative side, even though I haven't followed those traits to a career path, or at least not directly. As a child, I would draw all the time; on everything. When my family would go out to eat, they would get me the box of crayons and a couple of extra menus and I would get lost in it. When the food arrived, I didn't want to eat. I wanted to keep drawing. I love music. I have respect for all types of music even if it is not something I listen to regularly. I have played several instruments in my lifetime; a few I gave up early on: piano and alto saxophone. I currently still play the drums (don't worry, I sound-proofed the room :)) 6 string guitars, and can carry simple bass lines. It's all for fun, and I have a few friends I still get together and jam with every now and then, but you can rest assure I'm not that guy that can't give up the rock star dream. I'm well-established in my career, and I like what I do. I went to school for Computer Networking, and came onto some great opportunities when I finished, so I discontinued my education. I am starting up again now, and working toward several certifications. I have also begun working toward my USPA certification at Skydive Arizona. A friend of mine had the idea of going for tandem jump one day, and I had never really thought about doing it before. That was probably the most exhilarating thing I had experienced in a long time, and I made the decision while I was still in free-fall, that I wanted to keep doing it. It is kind of tough describing yourself because you always leave out the pulp. Someone on the other side of the camera is always going to notice different things about your character than you do.
