. I am not one who writes about myself but I guess this is the place to get that started. May have to edit it a few times --quite a few, mabe. First off I am retired due to a work related accident in 2008. After the dust cleared, my first thought was "how do I top this next year"'. I didn't even try, just stayed home all day. After 3 years, I am left with only a few limitations.
I have been told that I am a romantic. I write poetry when things are good. That didn't start until 1991, just after my divorce. That was good . I have had 2 published in card form. It was nice but made them seem to impersonal. Romantic but not a over the edge dreamer. Still have my feet on the ground.
Humor is one of the most important assets a person can have and enjoy with that someone special. Along with humor one needs kindness, thoughtfullness, honesty, genuine caring and the ability to assume the other persons situation. Communications is also very important. I learned years ago that the most importand part of communicating is LISTENING. Most people seem to only want to talk and I am told that I am a good listener capable of good answers, if desired

I am told that I am easy to get along with, kind of laid back so to speak. I enjoy new places, seeing new things. I am kind of on the quiet side, until I am comfortable. Looking for new places is how I ended up in Az a few months ago. While looking for someplace to relocate to, I keep passing through Kingman to see other places. Each time I would add another day here. When it got up to 5 or 6 days each way, going and coming, I just stopped and then moved.
One of the best places to see is Mardi Gras. I have gone twice and have not lost interest. It is the only place that I know of where you are not expected to act your age.
I am looking for someone with mutual interests and views willing to mold them togather and grab a star and look to the future as a couple.
