Thanks for looking at my profile. I am a committed Christian man looking for a committed Christian lady, one that is not afraid of sharing her faith and who wants to be in the middle of God’s perfect will at any cost. My life verse is Matthew 6:33, with a secondary verse of Proverbs 3:5, 6. I believe that He has a perfect will for each of His children and that is where I want to be – not on the edge but in the middle of His perfect will. I try to do what the Lord would want me to do in every circumstance, though I blow it occasionally, fortunately God is a forgiving God.
I have joined Match to see if the Lord has a friend that might turn into a spouse for me. I am aware that things need to move from casual friendship to something more if everything is right. I am not in a hurry; I just want the Lord to select my relationship. The bible tells us “not to be unequally yoked”, which says to me that any ladies that I would “date” would also be committed Christians. There are a lot of ladies on Match that have selected “spiritual but not religious” and I am not sure what that means. Given the previous information, I am dating with a goal in view, not just to date.
I enjoy almost anything if I am with someone that I really care about, the activity is not as important as who I am with. I enjoy learning, the mountains, the beach, easy hikes, exploring, beach-combing, virtually anything with a motor in it (LOL), long drives, especially to places that I have not been before, boating, swimming, some concerts, looking at nature, virtually all animals (not a big fan of reptiles, though I have had snakes as a kid), snuggling with that special lady, etc. I really enjoy discovering things that I didn’t know were there or available. I guess I just like surprises. Puzzles are a fascination to me because of the surprise at the end when the puzzle is solved.
