I enjoy a weekend trip somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico or a little longer trip to Carmel, Ca. I have driven all of the available old Route 66 from Illinois to Santa Monica. If time is not a factor, travelling on the roads can't be beat.. I cannot get enough classic films from the 30's and 40's.Many nights are spent with an old movie, some cheese, crackers and wine in front of the tv. I get out on my bicycle at least 3 times a week for 12 mile rides. I spend a lot of my free time antiquing. I enjoy working and I enjoy the job I have in Scottsdale. I have been at the same job for 23 years and enjoy every minute of it. I am at a famous high end resort and the perks associated with my job are amazing. I need to tell you about it.
I am retired from a previous job back east and which had a 22 year career. I also have been involved in dozen of interesting projects such as a successful folk music band in Washington D.C. in the '60's to cave exploring in West Virginia, restaurant decorating with a major chain, involved iwith NASCAR when the race comes to town . Time spent with me is what we make it. We can go a mile a minute through some out of the way antique shop or restaurant or we can slow down to a crawl and kick back and enjoy each other. Whatever we want we can do. I love to eat in restaurants and try to do that 3-4 times a week. If a new one opens I'm usually there within a week to give it a try. However, my down time is spent at home working on antique projects, working around the house or watching movies.
