Meet a man from Arizona, United States. I grew up in a small town in southwest Minnesota and went to school in Fargo, North Dakota. After freezing in the midwest for 23 years I decided that I needed the other extreme, so I moved to Phoenix. I've been here for about six years and love it. I'm big into golfing and nothing's better than talking to someone from back home about the round I shot that weekend while they talk about home much snow they had to shovel.
Anyway, I'm looking for someone who's similar to me, but not TOO similar. It obviously helps to have things in common, but I'm also looking to experience new things.
I consider myself to be very intelligent and an all-around good person - after all, I have those "small town Midwestern values." I have a pretty good sense of humor, which can be dry and sarcastic at times. I've been told my best feature is my smile. I'm kinda shy at first, but once the ice is broken I find it easy to carry on a conversation.
As I said before, my "ideal" match would be someone along the same lines as me, but not exactly the same. I think I prefer someone outgoing to help counter my initial shyness. Date someone special from United States. Alright, before you get to the basics of who I am and what I am looking for I need to say a couple of things. . . 1.) It seems that the women who complain loudest about being treated like a piece of "meat" or only meet guys who only talk to them because they are pretty are the ones that are just as guilty of it as the guys are. Ironic and getting quite funny! 2.) I truly do not know why people give out their phone numbers if they are going to get annoyed when someone uses it. Again, ironic and funny! 3.) - I am life long learner.
- I have been to Europe and want to go back again.
- I have a musical background.
- I can communicate better than anyone I know (that also means I know how to listen)
- I am well beyond partying and clubbing. I grew up and let it go. I will have the occasional drink, but do not need to to have a good time.
- LOOKS DO NOT MATTER! Whats the point, they fade away anyway. Intelligence and personality as so much more value to me.
What I want:
- I want a committed relationship (not within a week of meeting, but not going to wait a year either)
- I want someone that is similar to myself, but not just like me. I like learning new things and love when someone can introduce me to them.
- Someone with kids does not bother me at all(obviously, I am a teacher)
- Someone that values a night out as much as she does a home cooked meal and conversation or a movie on the couch together.
- Someone that loves the smaller things life has to offer.
- Someone that doesn't need or expect a gift to know that they are appreciated and cared about, but a text, a note, or a small gesture that says it all.
- I want that person to know they can come to me with the greatest news in the world or with the saddest thing they have ever heard or been through
- Lastly, I want someone who can invest as much time as I can in developing something real and not short lived and superficial!
Okay, so let's try it this way and see what results I can get. Remember, I am just looking for one woman to share in my life.
