Meet someone special from Lakeside, United States. Ha ha, made you look. Wouldn’t be a secret if I told you. Ok, I’ll tell you later, but first this. Most of you say you want a nice guy who will stick around forever. Even past December 22, 2012. So how come Cosmo, who sells lots of copies, never headlines “99 ways to get a nice guy to stick around forever?” They know what women want, particularly women done with the baby making imperative. Maybe second after that would be “ways to make him pick up his socks and take out the garbage.”
Ok, now a serious moment. The secret I promised you: Both partners stay completely open and transparent about what they need and want. That’s it. Simple. But oh so difficult. See the movie “The Invention of Lying.” Consider any relationship apocalypse and see if it wasn’t preceded by tons of holding back. “But I don’t want to be demanding or demanded upon.” Of course not. Here’s a quote that might help.
“One has the best time when they are totally selfish. The turn-on, the rush is the energy flow that comes from within. When one is totally selfish they will show their lover the key to their heart. If you’re not quite ready to give away that key, best to just be quiet and meditate on that. Just know it’s yours to give.”
"The highest truth is found in the moment-to-moment pursuit of feeling good. Ever hear the saying that the path to righteousness is toil and sacrifice? As usual “they” have it 180 degrees wrong. Didn’t sound quite right, did it? It just got popular by repetition. God isn’t into work. He creates just by thinking. Gets an idea, loves it so much, poof! It happens. Christ said we all have the same tools."
So what do I want? For one, a travel companion who can take 12 weeks a year for various adventures; sailing big boats in warm waters, scuba, 4WD camping in the back country and Baja, and is ok on the back of a motorcycle or in a light airplane. A tough bill to fill, but I’m not giving up my delicious lifestyle.
I want chemistry. That comes in both physical and spiritual dimensions. I’m not political. I don’t get “involved.” I close my ears to the news and other propaganda. I stay abreast by reading t-shirts and bumper stickers. I do follow economic events to manage my investments. I don’t fuss over stuff I can’t control, which is just about everything except my attitude. That’s challenge enough.
My most important relationship is with my inner being, that vastly larger, wiser, timeless me that is always available when I relax into connection. Then I have something to offer you. I think we’re all born connected, then progressively get distracted. I’ve included some quotes at the end that show me how the unspeakable shines through the little ones.
I’m not jealous, possessive, or clingy. How could I love you, then put you in handcuffs? Unless you like that sort of thing.
I don’t cook. But I do chop, grill and clean. I can fix anything that’s broken. Even a heart. Just takes longer. I’m good in the massage room and the bedroom. I’m a pleaser not a teaser. Unless you like that sort of thing.
Photos are current. What you see is what you get. I have to laugh when people say “average.” What does that mean in America?
