My biggest problem is I'm very Allergic to dogs, and even more Allergic to Cats, so for those of you whos pet is like your child, that's probably not gonna work for me. I did body building On & Off for many years, I quit again about a year or so ago, but I am looking for a reason to get back working out again, and a nice woman could be just the motivation I need, ha, ha, ha!!! My kids have always been and will be my passion, now that they are grown its time to play and have fun traveling with and interesting partner, enjoying food, learning about history of our travels and visiting family but leaving before they drive us nuts and before we wear out our next invite.
I enjoy the outdoors, camping, water skiing, snow skiing and BBQing, learning new things and going back to school is in my future. I am handy around the house and just restarting a remodel of the inside. I'm good in the garden but painting and working with my hands is more my thing.

I like Havasu but finding it to be getting to big, so I am looking towards a smaller town for a second home or move at some point. Retire from worrying about money to beginning a new life spending time doing what I enjoy, with a woman I enjoy as much as she does me! Isn't that what everyone wants? The hard part is making it come true. Onto the more mundane, but important: I have all the things necessary to take full advantage of both seasons (summer and not summer) in this beautiful desert oasis and they are all paid for. I own a home in a nice part of town with necessary desert ameneties. I love to cook, enjoy educational tv, Cub games (I'm a Chicago-area native), thought-provoking conversation over a bottle of wine and slap-stick humor! Fitness is important as well as a healthy diet, with occasional cheating. ;) Cannot be around smokers or pet dander...sorry, both make me asthmatic.
UPDATE: I recently read someone's ad that triggered something I had neglected to mention: making a child smile / laugh. The same can be said about the person I'm dating. Both are among the best things in life to me!

As far as honesty goes, I will say that I hate the dating thing and probably not that good at it either. I have spent much of the past several years just doing what I do best and that's being a single daddy ! I am not complaining though because it has allowed me to get the very most and very best of father / son time any man could ever want. I just know that I am ready to find that one who makes my life feel whole and share all the joys the world has to bring...
