I used to live in Austin, TX after graduating from the University of Illinois. After a bout of joblessness, I relocated to the Phoenix area for a new job. That was almost 10 years ago!
I love Chicago but just can't handle the weather there. My allergies were in such an uproar, I couldn't hack it. Say what you will about the desert, but it least it's pretty consistent and relatively easy on my sinuses. Still, I do love the city. (it helps that I have a lot of family and friends still there)

My favorite shows are probably Fringe, Community and Futurama (I used to love The Simpsons, but not so much any more), and I love to watch Jeopardy when I can. (I guess I just love being right.) :) I really enjoy films, but don't get to see the stuff I'd like.("The Pianist" was great. "Black Swan" was the best one I've seen recently.) I guess what I look for most in a person, is curiosity, intelligence, and kindness. I'm looking for someone who expresses a zest for life and complements my desires to try new things and enrich my life, through art and film, food, dance, music, etc. Open mindedness is very important to me, and the ability to think beyond what we've been taught about the world.. Have been known to be the life of the party, but have figured out in recent years there is a time and a place for outrageous humor... Have REALLY toned it down and focused on my career in Sales Management..Recently moved to Chandler,AZ from the Eastern Washington area... I am the General Manager of a lucrative auto dealership in Chandler,AZ so I dont have the time or patience for woman who like to mess with my head.. Thanks for stopping by. I guess this is where I tell you a little bit about myself and what I am looking for? Well first of all let me say I am not great at describing myself. And as far as what I want there are certain things that I definately want in a person and some things that I would want but dont need.
So I was born in Verona (Italy), and grew up mostly in Boston (yes I do have a slight Italian/Bostonian accent). I still have family in both places who I miss from time to time, and wish I could visit more often. My family is great, they always supported me in everything I have done, even (reluctantly) when they had to sign my contract with the Marines because I was only 17 when I joined.
I am a man who believes in honor, and doing what is right. I think a man should be measured by what he does for his family, not for what he does at work or his education. I am faithful, and romantinc (maybe it's because I am from Verona the city of Romeo and Juliet), I like to find ways to surprise a girl. I am a little bit shy at first, but I do like to have a good time, and really turn out to be funny and a bit of a goofball at times.
I like to stay active, especially if it involves my dog, so hiking or finding new spots to check out is something I like to do but dont do enough. I love playing sports more than watching them. I still play lacrosse here in the valley and go to a few tournaments around the west coast every year. I started playing in high school, the college where I went didnt have a team so I started one, and in 2006 I played in the World Cup for team Italy. I also workout 4-5 times a week.
I am a goal oriented person, and achieve pretty much everything I set my mind to.
I am also really easy going, not a lot bothers me, but I dont like drama. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. I believe in chivalry and I try to be as much of a gentleman as possible. I would also try to make you laugh and smile as much as possible because I have a sweet spot for a girl with a great smile.
I moved to Phoenix a few of yrears ago, when I got my new job at Allegiant Air, where I recently just got promoted to captain. I love the company that I work for because I get to be home every night.
I like to learn things, and I have a B.S. in flight operations, an MBA and I am finishing up my Masters in Finance.
I dont have specific type of woman that I like, I look at the total package, so I do believe personality is very important. If you smoke, do drungs or drink excessively often, it wont work. I would like to find someone who is also active, easy going, sweet and likes dogs (I have a brittany named Sammie). Someone who likes to take weekend trips, and week long vacations, and is ok with last minute trip decisions.
I want someone who gets my jokes and loves to laugh, even if it is at herself sometimes.
I also think that two people should be attracted to each other, but also found out that a good personality can make an average person beautiful.
I considered myself to be a succesful person I've achieved everything I strived for...in the Marines, as a pilot and a little as a lacrosse player.
I love my life, and although I am fine with being single, I would like to find someone to share life's challenges and joys with.
***PS, it has been brought to my attention that some women might be afraid of starting a relationship with a pilot, because of the fear of the possibility of me cheating. If that's the case, I would just like to say that I have never cheated on any of my past girlfriends, and I dont think that a career choice should define a man.***
