Date men and women from United States / Arizona, 59 year old - page 4

Date single man from Arizona, United States. I am seeking a woman that is willing to accept a man much below her ideal. Specifically, I lack masculine pulchritude and a bank account to match. However, I am fit and trim and my testosterone level is inversely proportionate to my age.
I enjoy the simple things (i.e. laughter, panoramic views, a hike, a bike ride, the sun rise or set, a movie, a book, good beer-wine-vodka, music, good conversation, joking give and take, food, to generously touch and be touched.)
I give good phone among other things. I am quick witted and funny. I am passionate about many things moral, ethical, patriotic, political and physical. Give me a drink and I'll give you a speech.
The paradox (and my hypocrisy) is that I require your compromise because the kind of woman I desire does not often desire me. I learned from experience that I can only make it with a woman that is slender, intelligent, humorous, politically conservative, and physically available.
Interests:
Anything intellectually redeeming, funny, enlightening, informative, stimulating andor intoxicating.
I seek an intelligent, humorous, beautiful woman that will help me restore my capacity for intimacy, sensuality, sexuality. I want her to share and enjoy the simple things and the finer things for our mutual benefit.

Meet people from Arizona, United States. I was brought up in the Midwest (St. Louis) with strong values. Since then I've lived in a little town in Nebraska (hello, cold), Houston, Texas (hello, humidity), Atlanta, Georgia (hello, pollen) , So Cal (hello, traffic) and now Scottsdale (hello, HEAT). Actually I've enjoyed everywhere I've lived. There is something good about each place I've been. The food, the sights, the weather, the people each have left their mark on who I've become. Most of all, they were Home for a period of my life.
I love to make people laugh. My humor runs the gamut of my comic influences. Telling funny stories like Bill Cosby or Flip Wilson (I’m a pale imitation). I am quick witted and see the humor in everyday life like Jonathan Winters or George Carlin. And I can’t pass up a pun or play on words ala Groucho or Chico Marx.
I also love to cook, but need the instructions of good cookbooks (I have roughly 8 feet of them). I enjoy cooking because it’s creative and, of course, I love good food.
I’ve got two grown step-children. One daughter is in New York and the other is in the Atlanta area. I love thm a lot and am proud of who they've become.
I believe that chivalry is not dead as long as there is a few of us out there who keep practicing it. I believe that a woman can be the fairer sex without being the weaker sex. Most of the strongest people I’ve known are women. Are you a strong woman? (No, you don’t need to bench press a Buick.)
What am I looking for in a woman? She must have poise, a presence that lights up a room when she smiles, someone who loves to laugh and doesn’t take life too seriously. She’s beautiful (in my eyes) but doesn’t mind getting her hair mussed when I put the car's top down. I’m sure there could be a lot of other things I could put on a “shopping list” but that would take away the surprise of getting to know a unique individual.
May 2011 Update: I've lost 25 pounds so I've changed my description from "A Few Extra Pounds" to "About Average" (Need some new pictures that show the "less" of me). Still working to lose a few more and tone up what's left. Anybody want to go for a walk?

Date a man from Arizona, United States. Hard working, loyal and trying to improve my English language star tutoring on 0716 at U of A to be more succesfull in the near future, well educated in Mexico and looking to meet sincere and caring woman to continue forward. Slender, brown skin, missing some hair, for now kind of sad and dealing with my separation.

Meet someone special from Arizona, United States. I'd like to share the excitement of exploring gorgeous Northern Arizona and the variety of things to do here from taking road trips to attending cultural events with someone passionate about exploring all there is to do. Who knows where sharing the same passion for the same interests could lead. It would certainly be fun to find out! :-)
I've always placed a value on the little things in life, respect and appreciation for others, and the value of serving the less fortunate. I am looking for someone who shares some of the same interests and brings new ones to try.
I especially like doing things on the spur of the moment; unplanned and spontaneous. You could call it making up a plan as you go! I like the movies, dinning out, art, live music, the outdoors, to travel, and exploring, or just spending a quite night at home.

Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. I would describe myself as independent and self reliant, curious and quiet, adventurous and introspective. Love the beach, mountains, and the natural world. Like ethnic food, world music, traveling the California coastline. I'm easy going and easy to get along with, but also passionate about certain issues.
If you love the beach, gardening, and cooking, a definite plus.
I've lived in New York City from '76-'01, and have enjoyed the diversity, culture, and intensity of the city. I've also lived in Los Angeles (my original home) and enjoy the relaxed LA lifestyle, the coastal climate, and beach culture. After moving back to LA in 2001, I lived aboard my 40' sailboat in Marina Del Rey for 7 years, and did a lot of sailing and club racing. The beach is definitly a part of who I am.
I now live in AZ, enjoying my home and working in the yard (1 acre) and taking care of my mom, who is now 90.
I'm looking for someone who is curious and kind, spiritual and earthy, likes nature and animals, enjoyes cooking (I'll be happy to help, let's try something new toghether).

Meet men and women from Arizona, United States. I'm a passionate, artist/writer of romantic poetry and short stories searching to inspire. If I can stir your emotions, then I’ve done right by you.
I believe we should use our time for diverse, full and rich experiences. Let’s leave it at that.
Being the social creature that I am, I love getting out meeting people, old and new, going to the theater, art galleries or museums, leisurely romantic walks in the park, playing on the swings, discovering those great holes in the wall restaurants, small and aging curiosity and antique shops that wreak of our diverse, and mostly, unknown history, local wineries and especially cheese shops. (Hey, what do you expect, I’m from Wisconsin. Got to love that cheese!!!) Finding small live music clubs and dancing the night away, preferably to Blues and/or Jazz. I love the gifts of life we have been given. They enrich us in ways unimaginable.
What gets me turned on the most are the people, those honest, friendly and hardworking, who by their actions, make this a better world. You can feel the richness of life in their presence, if you only stop for a moment and “smell the roses”.
The world abounds in too many unhappy, jaded and negative people. I’m not one of them, and I hope you aren’t either!
I am compassionate, truthful, kind, respectful, supportive, articulate, understanding, and………..flirtatious. I can’t help it, I’m Greek.
I am not interested in women who are overly picky and have shallow behavioral and physical traits when it comes to dating. I don’t want a self-absorbed woman who’s only concerned about herself — her friends, her job, her hobbies, her goals, etc. Any relationship should be about WE, not ME, plain and simple.
I love women that enjoy bringing out the bad boy side of me, but remember, it’s a two way street. But then again, what woman doesn’t love being the bad girl with the right person. ;-)
If you do write me, please have something to say that shows me that you've read my profile. This is a quality aged wine here ready to be uncorked. I am a man of substance who has real and warm gifts to share with a passionate, ambitious beauty.
All I am looking for is an attractive woman who’s for real, fun and enjoyable to be with. Where things go in a month, six months, a year or more - I don’t know. You can’t plan what will happen, just let it unfold naturally and enjoy it, so BE OPEN.
If the attraction and feelings grow deeper over time, I would welcome it.
If you would like to meet, don’t be shy. Please feel free to send me a message and see if we "click"
You know, I might like you too. At the very least, maybe we can be friends. :-)
There’s more I could tell you, but then, what fun would it be? It’s more exhilarating to discover how suave and debonair I am in person. lol
One last point. My younger son, who is going to college and lives with me, and my grandson, are both highly allergic to cats, so no cats, it's a deal breaker. Sorry, but that's the way it is. We do have a Basset Hound puppy, about six months old. She is a little stinker, but sooooo cute, filled with puppy energy and full of life.
Let's meet someplace casual, maybe coffee or a glass of wine and not too crowded. Or even an afternoon in a park with ice cream cones. I'll take the double fudge chocolate! It would give us the chance to talk, and be heard, and see where the wind takes us. Life's short, why wait?
Just email me already. :-)

Date single man from United States. Hey you....
The smell of fresh ground coffee fills the house and
we wake up to our favorite...... French Roast coffee and the Sunday Times.
Last night we cooked dinner, flirted and listened to music.
The Shiraz did its magic and we danced into the night,
as the flickering candles created their special mood.
When Leonard Cohen and Diana Krall is playing, it's just magic.
You are fit, your eyes sparkle and we laugh together all the time.
We suck at tennis but we have great fun playing.
At least hiking doesn't take a lot of skill,
just the desire to experience nature to its fullest.
Grand Canyon at sunrise is just as spiritual as it gets.
I'm your biggest fan and you pretend to be,
when you cheer at my soccer games.
Yes, I suck at that too but it's something I love to do.
Today will also be great...............
****************************
Hey there.
Can you imagine?
Are you done with the rebounds and the games?
Have you also met enough high quality people
so you can make a decision when "the last one"
comes along, without looking back?
Do you think my daughters will like you?
You now have an idea of what floats my boat.
If it floats yours too, you know what to do.
It all starts with a click of the mouse.
Go ahead.
Just do it.

Meet people from United States. Soft spoken, hardly do clubing but will check out a country western bar. Well educated and considerd well mannered. I can adjust easily to any environment. I can easily spoil someone. Would like to date first before getting serious. I can get extremely romantic if I meet the right lady. I treat a lady like they want to be treated. Non-abusive physically and verbally. I like ladies with light brownish hair and light colored skin. They drive me nuts.

Date a man from United States. My intro "Are you secure enough to be spoiled" at times turns women off I'm told that it makes them think they are going to be controlled. Which can't be farther from the truth. The meaning behind it is I'm looking for a woman who likes to be treated the way they deserve to be treated. My feeling is that women are God's gift to the world.
Because of my generousity I have been used on many occasions and do not want it to happen again. I enjoy most things outdoors, along with movies, live theater, dining out, Hitting the gym 3 times a week,or just being with my lady watching a movie at home. I love animals,at this time I have only one rescue pup but she's my baby.

Meet someone special from United States. I just moved to Havasu for the lake and weather, and now I would like someone to share it with. I like the outdoors but have improved my home lately. I am looking for a fun woman who likes to be active. I like to ride when weather permits, and also go four wheel driving, but my favorite is to go out in the boat.

Date a soulmate from United States. I consider myself to have integrity, and that, I feel is foremost in a relationship. I am kind, caring, compassonate, loving and generous. Not to mention intelligent, witty, charming, funny, handy. Well, I was told that if it's true it's not bragging! LOL! I would like to find someone to share my lifestyle with. You love life and having fun, horses, motorcycles, dancing, laughing, music, travel, reading and learning. My desire is to find a woman who understands what love is. That it is unconditional, and cannot be described, only felt. A woman that gives and can therefore receive love, joy and happiness (and give in return), and is strong enough to make it through the bumps in the road. Even though we share common interests she has her own interests and circle of friends as do I. We can be independent and inter-dependent. Intelligence, attractiveness, fitness, and good hygiene are definite attractions. Cutting up and cuddling up are a must! PDA is OKAY! Yes? More can be covered over coffee……? Seeking a kind, intelligent, level headed, grounded, attractive woman, There should be chemistry.
My picture is posted. LADY'S, PLEASE HAVE A RECENT PHOTO POSTED. Chemistry is important. Why woudn't you want to show us your beautiful smile??? I'm sorry, but I will not reply if you don't have a photo on your profile.
If I've winked at you, I'm not being rude, and it's not because I'm too shy or lazy to write. It's just a quick "Hello, are you interested?". ;-)
Now, if you are too refined too ride in a pickup, on a motorcycle or the back of a horse, well then, we're not a match. If you wouldn't like me going on a 3-day weekend trip to help my friends gather cows or to be in a roping competition, and if you never-ever want to go watch, cheer, or just ride too, then we really, really aren't a match. Of course, it works both ways, and I would be willing to support you in your interests.
Thanks for stopping by!

Meet men and women from United States. I am: honest, hard working, spiritual, creative, intelligent, witty, friendly, kind, patient and optimistic. I am a lover of the arts and personal growth. I resonate with authors like Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, N. D. Walsh, Eckhart Tolle and Byron Katie. I relate best with New Thought spiritual teachings (Unity and Science of Mind churches). I see myself blessed beyond measure with excellent health, 3 beautiful children (grown of course), a career I love and a nice home. I have all my teeth, most of my hair and everything works perfectly with no pharmaceutical assistance.

I like movies, shows and theater. I especially love a good sci-fi adventure flick like Blade Runner, Avatar or The Abyss. Star Trek, Star Wars. Other favorite films include As Good As It Gets, every Tom Hanks / Meg Ryan pairing, Casablanca, Scent of a Woman, True Lies, The Gods Must Be Crazy, What Dreams May Come and... well, you get the idea. I tend to shy away from horror movies or films that have a lot of graphic violence. I love a good Broadway musical and hope you will, too. The last show I saw was Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark in NYC. Cirque Du Soleil shows are phenomenal, and no trip to Vegas is complete without seeing one. Museums and local attractions are also fun.
I prefer (not too strenuous) hiking in cooler climates like forested trails, mountain streams and lakes, beaches and the like. Let's make it a picnic.

I’m looking for a companion first and, if the chemistry is right, I would hope to see things develop into a committed relationship. If we’re a good fit, we’ll know it soon enough and be content to let nature take its course.

I also read and write poetry. I will conclude this monologue with something I wrote a while back…
All Creation lies in wait;
a gift of hope to be
birthed in endless love with endless possibilities.
In this light of Spirit
shining through eternal skies,
from that center deep within you:
let your colors fly!
