Date single boy from Arizona, United States. I'm in the Army National Guard and am currently on my 3rd deployment over seas. I have been to Iraq twice and I'm going to Afghanistan this time. I love motorcycles, dirtbikes, quads, and off roading in my Hummer. Depending on the weekend will depend on weather I'm out in the desert on the dirtbikes, at the lake on boat, or taking a trip through the twisties on the motorcycle. I grew up on the farm so naturally I am an animal lover. I have a couple dogs that keep me busy when I'm hanging out at home. I do own my own place so if I'm not running around I'm generally working on my house to improve the value. I listen to all types of music but prefer rock and heavy metal, but that's not to say that I don't know how to 3 step or do the Texas 2 step. I'm a little rusty but it can be done. I have a pretty good life and am a very happy person. I love to laugh so I try to do things that are always making me laugh or give me a thrill. I also try to spend some time at the gym or on a nice long run to stay in shape. I have found that wakeboarding is also a great way to stay in shape which is why my friends and I head to the lake as often as we do. Even with all the things I do outside though there is always plenty of time to chill at home with a good meal and a movie. I also have a lot of tattoos and enjoy showing them off, I figure I didn't get them to hide them.
I'm looking for someone that can keep up and likes going riding dirtbikes, quads, motorcycles, boating, and generally just having a good time. I'm looking for someone that is honest and knows the meaning of that word. I want someone that likes going to concerts and doesn't mind a good rock show. I dig someone that has some ink and has a bit of a heavy side to them. I was raised Catholic so I have no problem with religion. I have been known to grab a minimalist amount of items and buy a ticket for destinations unknown and have a hell of an adventure. I am a corporate conformist which idealistically doesn't mesh well with spontaneous behavior but I make it work. Look at like jesus in a tuxedo shirt haha. I am a movie buff, total foodie, outdoors fanatic, science nerd and wine connoisseur. Ladies, chivalry is still alive and practiced readily so class and charm go quite a way. I unfortunately don't own any Affliction or have visible barb wire tats nor do I club that often with the porcupine posse so that may just narrow the search parameters. I grew up playing tennis; I had a private coach from 8 until my early 20's. Nowadays I just go running outdoors in the desert, I enjoy some occasional ice skating, and I have a bunch of cool hobbies.
I love music. I already have my dream guitars and I'm teaching myself music, little by little. It's a fun, challenging hobby that takes my mind away from everything else, and that is wonderful. I listen mostly to classic British rock n' roll, I love the sound of guitars on overdrive, jumbo acoustics, and going to lots of amazing concerts and festivals.
I've just got back from a nice summer trip to New York, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Italy. I have part of my family in Europe, so it's good to visit them and travel around to visit museums, get nice clothes, enjoy new sights, and try the local coffee shops. Although I have a very calm, easy going personality, I love the hustle and bustle of big cities. There's just more things to do.
I like eating out. I appreciate good food, although I'm not a chef by all means. Steakhouse/Italian restaurant visits always make me smile. Not to mention black forest cakes, warm brownies, profiteroles with ice cream, and a nice cup of coffee. I do like good stuff. :-)
I usually watch concerts instead of movies, but the movies that I do watch are worth revisiting. I won't bore you with a long list. Stand up comedians like Robin Williams and Chris Rock are a lot of fun to watch as well; I love an spontaneous good laugh.
I'm a curious person, so anything that sounds complicated, exhaustive, and takes high skills gets my attention. That's why I learned tennis when I was small, and that's why I'm an engineer. I'm getting a doctorate and I'm excited about my future. I think I've planned it very well. I'm positive there are many good surprises to come down the road.
