I came to Alaska 10 years ago and would like to see more of this state and others.I spend too much time working and when not I would like to find someone to spend time with and maybe find the special person to share with.I am a self sufficiant gal and can do almost every thing for myself ,but would love someone that would be my handyman,best friend.I have a great son,but he lives in Montana.
. At this point in my life, I am looking for a friend, soul-mate, someone I can talk to and really get to know. My life is simple, laid back, low-key and peaceful, and I like it that way. If you like a home-cooked meal, good conversation and watching a movie, than perhaps we could be friends. I love a good joke, a great book, an evening at the theater (once in a blue moon), but mostly, I like the comfort of being at home with a trusted, compassionate and caring friend. I love to go fishing in the summer, even though I am not very skilled; I love the "to go" part and would like to learn! When I moved to this area, I learned (sort of) how to dipnet and participated in shore fishing, but I think I would much prefer a boat...I grew up boating on rivers, lakes, oceans. Camping is great fun as I dearly love the outdoors in this great state, but not necessarily the whole setting up part. I think I am approaching the RV years. If you want to play games, looking for a one-night stand, be dishonest or any of that stuff, I am definitely NOT your type! If you are looking for someone to party with or hang out in bars, again, I am not the least bit interested in anything like that. What I am seeking is a friend; friendship is where any meaningful or long-term relationship of any kind begins. Qualities I admire most in men: Honesty, integrity, decency, respect of women and others.
P.S. About that relationship status of "currently separated," it does NOT mean I am waiting around to see if the husband and I might get back together....that will NEVER, EVER happen!
. I'd describe myself as pretty down to earth, good morales and honest. I have a handful of great friends, and I try to surround myself with those with a positive attitude. Laughter and smiles make my day! I am most grateful for my two sons, 25 and 26, who do not live at home. I'm hoping to attract a genuinely nice and honest, non-controlling good guy, to hang out with, dinners, movies, new things. I am not much of a drinker, not much for the bar scene, a glass of wine from time to time. A friendship for starters......then maybe more.
