I have ended a 24 year marriage with a wonderful woman the unfortunate thing is we started going down different paths over the last few years and could not find a way to reconnect.
I am not looking to replace her; I know that it is impossible to replace a love of 25 years. But I do believe it is possible to find a special person to love in a whole new way.
I am told that I am a romantic, which means I am a little greedy when it comes to love. Take that for what you will

Where to start …
I can laugh at myself. Also enjoy a good philosophical discussion as long as you don’t take them too seriously.
Also enjoy having a night out, whether it is putting on a suit and having Dinner at Simons and a show, or Jeans, t-shirt, burgers and a movie. Either is fine, as long as we are having a good time.
Knowing my way around a kitchen, I Enjoy nights at home; dinner and movie make for a nice evening.
Having lived in Alaska my entire life and growing up Mt view, (please don’t hold that against me) I have already done the fishing, hunting, etc. Not much into that anymore. I would rather go to Simons and have the Copper River salmon served to me than go catch my own. That is not to say with the right woman I would not be inclined to do these things again.
Having some similar interests helps-- I enjoy fine dining, as well that hole in the wall place good coffee, decadent desserts rich food, good imported alcohol’s (Basically everything that is bad for you) movies, pool, pinball, working out, biking, cribbage, chess, and travelling (Would like to travel more) Like most people I have varied interest.
Looking for someone to laugh with, hang out with, and have fun with. I feel there has to be mutual physical attraction for there to be good chemistry between two people.
I try to be as honest as possible. I expect the same with who I am with. (I will though tell you, that you look great in those jeans /dress I’m honest not stupid)

My current work schedule has me out of town at times and I do NOT have access to Match when away. But while out of town, I can respond to Match emails but not "winks".

Meet a man from Alaska, United States. I would describe myself as an easy going Alaskan urbanite outdoorsman. My friends say that I need to get out more as I have never been married or have a current girlfriend. I guess they are right as I am tired of being single! Its not that I haven't had girlfriends, I have, I just haven't found that special lady that I can begin the rest of my life with. I enjoy most everything that has to do with playing outdoors in AK or elswere both summer and winter. Being an outdoorsman does not preclude me from enjoying activities in town. I can be just as happy (sometimes) attending a wine tasting, dining out, going to a concert, going for a bike ride, or just taking in a movie at home. I like to travel when I can too. One day I hope to find myself (and my lady!) seeing the wonders of Australia and New Zealand among other countries. Seeing more of America is also part of my to-do list. I want to meet and get to know people from other places and gain new perspectives on life. I find this to be fascinating and enlightening. My ideal lady would be one who will enjoy occompanying me on these and other adventures.
