Date someone special from Alaska, United States. I love adventure, new experiences, new stories to tell. My grandkids mean a lot to me and take up a lot of my summer. I travel in from September thru May. Alaska has a lot to offer summer and winter. I enjoy all of it.

Meet a woman from Alaska, United States. I recently was introduced to a online seminar titled, CALLING IN THE ONE" That seemed correct, I am calling in the one. I can sense you are out there somewhere. Distance makes no difference to me, I am free to travel. At this time in my life I am ready to just enjoy life. To play, to laugh, to share, to have good conversation with someone who is passionate about living. Personal integrity ranks high for me. You need to know your own ego. I think you really need to know and love yourself before you can truly love another. I am looking for a good man who thinks not just reacts. I love dancing. Currently I am in Alaska but plan to live south by next spring, where there might be even a palm tree. Life is an incredible adventure and to me you need to stay focused on what truly matters in life. In reading other profiles I have realized my first attempt at this was not open enough. My belief is that we are all here to grow into ourselves. I believe we are all magnificent. We are already complete. People tell me I am easy going but also direct, a good balance I think. My intention is to live the best life as full out as I can imagine. Life is so good and it could be exciting to have someone to share it with. I am very open to new experiences and learning. I am also a artist/painter with my own style. I am semi-retired. There is so much beauty in the world it brings me to tears just thinking about how awesome life is. I am in deep gratitude. I am looking for someone who would like to travel, have new adventures, likes to laugh, who is honest, monogamous, has a good sense of humor and is willing to talk about anything. I'm a good cook but after50 years it has lost it's glamor somewhat. I'd like a person who thinks well of himself and others.

Date people from Alaska, United States. I was married to my high school sweetheart for over 30 years. After a very amicable divorce, I have enjoyed my freedom and independence the last few years. I have a very full and active life but occassionally, I think maybe I am missing something. The thought of on-line dating kind of freaked me out, but with encouragement from friends and family, decided to give it a try and see if I am missing something.
I am easy going, enjoy life and am fairly active. In the summer, I especially love boating and camping. In the winter, I enjoy skiing, prefer downhill at Alyeska, but x-country is fine. Plus a winter warm weather vacation. This year it was Hawaii, last year kayaking in Thailand and the year before Mexico. Variety and adventure works for me.
I am looking for someone without drama, not controlling and an overall good guy. I would like him to enjoy adventure, but who can also relax.

Meet a soulmate from Alaska, United States. Am a lover of manners, reggae, dogs and horses, museums, a child's logic, tulips, Bill Evans, getting lost, Somerset Maughm, fado, the desert in bloom, the open road, rock and roll, an exquisite glass of wine, a field of sunflowers in Provence, gorillas, funny people, convertibles, the cello and Bach, Il Postino, backroads, outdoor concerts, a good tent and candlelight.
Am most appreciative of a man who listens with his heart and is guided by his willingness to put pride aside in order to be open to the teachings of new experiences. Am attracted to a man with an intelligent wit and who doesn't take life too seriously. Greatly appreciate a man with a ruggedness as well as a poetic soul. Find it appealing to be with a man who can dress to the nines, hit the finest restaurant in town with no pretense and turn around and kick it in jeans and hang with the regulars at the local dive. Looking for a man with unwavering curiosity and wanderlust, whose word is good, his heart open and who can build a fire, ride a horse and dance up a storm - and whose arm around me feels right.

Meet someone special from United States. I am probably most proud of my natural ability to
bring people together, be it a supper club, a picnic, a meeting....
What makes me smile? Animals, kids, seeing positive results of a challenge in my life or others' lives.
Another personal slogan:
Say "Yes" before you say "No." Which means.... looking at the positive possibilities before thinking negatively.

Date a woman from United States. Hi, I'm a very young at heart, 65 year old, that has been in Alaska the past 39 years and the last 19 years have lived in the Wasilla area. I'm retired and would like to meet someone that appreciates me for my values and would be comfortable around my family. I love the outdoors, but also love dressing up and going out on the town. Now, enough about me! I would like to find someone that loves to travel and visit tropical places. I've sold my home and plan on spending the next few years in my new motor home exploring the good ole USA, but coming back to Alaska in the summertime to visit my 2 daughters and 5 grand kids.
I'm very active and want to be with someone that enjoys the values of life and living it to the fullest.

Meet men and women from United States. Dates are an adventure, New Friendships are sweet. Buddies are helpful, Romances are Romantic….
Presently Iive in Seattle part time and in Anchorage, ALaska mainly in the warm season. After working 25 years at two jobs and becoming a successful business person………вÐ
â€šÐ’¦now I Want to enjoy life with a partner who likes to hike, bike, and travel the world . I especially love exploring Europe and Australia in a river boat, on a bicycle or with hiking groups... Being a Gemini I love groups of fun happy interesting people. My favorite activity is hiking and if there is snow it would be cross country skiing.
I am a strong and independent woman , who is semiretired, has home in Seattle as well as Anchorage and now am spending more of the winter in a warmer climate like Arizona, Texas , or California. . I am fond of men who laugh a lot, have a sense of humor and are secure in their own self worth. A real man who can share his feelings , his thoughts and compromise. Really admire patient people as I am working on that. I do not want your money just your love.
Bliss would be a love who is sincere and honest. A guy who loves to cuddle, hug, kiss and who is HAPPY and maybe even charismatic. I want a man I can respect and adore and who feels the same way about me. A man who can afford to travel and has the time to devote to lots of free time playing. A man who likes to dine with wine and dance. Perhaps cruises with snorkeling, like in Hawaii or Belize. A bit of an extrovert is a bonus. Your life is a gift and I hope I can share it.
My perfect mate would have kids and grandkids as I do not…but I do have a fabulous niece who lives in Australia with their new baby girl and I visit them…..I want a guy who is willing to share his kids , grandkids, and family as I miss that in my life.
Some of my favorite quotes are
The Poet HAFIZ “We all exist in Life’s classroom learning lessons”.. “ We are living the manifestation of our thoughts. "
My favorite is Ralph Waldo Emerson…..” Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself. Go forward and Make your dreams come True” I have a canoe too.

. Quite a few years of early adulthood were spent living in the bush on a gold mine, and it has shaped my personality. I'm a former dog musher now learning tai chi and doing less punishing exercise. I'm still active, just in slower modes. I enjoy spending time alone, either inside or out, but it would be nice to have someone to share life with. I have always been able to entertain myself.
The city has its benefits and I have been getting there fairly often. I live in Tok but have a place in Fairbanks as well. At home I walk outside 3 miles a day down to -30. In town I utilitze the Dipper--too slippery on the roads. Taking classes, swimming, indoor walking and eating out are some of the things I've beend doing in town. I enjoy attending concerts, hockey games, plays and usually attend the Summer Arts Festival.
I have a good time pretty much wherever I am, though I'm kind of shy at social or fancy outings. I'd rather be with a few people than many or just be out.. In the summer I'd rather be fishing or up at my cabin in the 40 Mile but work often keeps me busy.. My brother-in-law just made me a new fly rod, so I'm going to pick it up again. No longer actively hunting, but just finished processing a caribou. It's the best of both worlds. My canoe gets a workout when I fish for pike. Copper River is where I get my fish but have to charter for halibut since my nephew left the lodge he was working at.
I love to travel and plan to do lots more. I have a motorhome that I took outside this fall so I can do a spring trip. My friends aren't as adventuresome, but I'm not going to stay home just because I'm alone. February will see me headed to Hawaii to bag my 50th state. I've never been a real warm weather lover-- that's why I love Alaska, though a few weeks in the winter can be nice.
But I really love more distant locations and cultures. Germany (for a family reunion) and Czechoslovakia are planned for July, and China will probably be after that. I'm not afraid to do things by myself, but it is nice to share good times. While I own a small business, I am considering retiring this year to allow more time for travel. Actually, I seem to be actively moving in that direction, gradually dropping activities till one of these days it will all be gone.
Currently I have one old dog and when she goes, I'll be visiting other people's pets for a while so I don't have to worry about leaving my babies. Leaving her is the hardest thing about travel.
I guess I would say I am more practical than romantic. My husband was the romantic and I ejoyed the push he gave me in that direction. I'm grateful for the years I had with him-- just wish there had been more. I am honest, sometimes to a fault. I think perhaps I am genetically programmed to be unable to lie. When I focus on something, everything else disappears.
If you give me a chance I'll probably end up doing your genealogy. I love the research and connecting it to history. In Scotland I found my forebears homes (now a granery and a barn) back to 1620's.

. My friends think I am brave and funny , wise and beautiful. I think I have been blessed and If I stay grateful I stay humble and happy.
I want a man who will do the next right thing and leave the results up to his higher power. A man who loves life. So let's rock and roll.
