Date a man from Alaska, United States. Nice, affectionate, kind, and caring person. I served in the for military for 22 years. I'm a disabled veteran who is looking for a person with the same values. I use a cane to get around. I would love to just get to know somebody and will work off of what she wants. I am a giving and good friend. I'm someone that wants to hold hands, likes hugs, and cuddling.. I am looking for someone to laugh with and have a good time with and maybe eventually we can be more. Everyone needs someone, a friend is a good place to start.
I am not looking for " one night stand" I would like to get to know you. I might be a little shy at first but I can carry on a conversion. Thanks for your interest. IM me.

Meet someone special from Alaska, United States. I've had a interesting life to this point and am looking for the next chapter. With my work schedule and home life it's difficult to meet someone that can enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I'm a avid outdoorsman and a dedicated family man and still enjoy the occasional evening out on the town and would like to have someone to enjoy them with.

Date single man from Alaska, United States. I'm a hard working man that hasn't had much time to go to the dating scenes and find someone that I could get to know and possibly grow with..I'm here to change that and hoping to share my likes and dislikes with a caring and understanding women.

Meet people from Alaska, United States. Too many variables. Hate drama. Just looking for someone who can share the good things in life. For me that's mainly good food (I'm a great cook) and the outdoors... Preferably the ocean.
I hate being normal. For example I love to fish but even though I own two powerboats, my preference is to fish the saltwater out of an oversized piece of tupperware, typically known as a kayak. In one year, I have become one of the better known Kayak anglers in the state and recently received recognition from a International Kayak Angling Internet magazine. My biggest drawback (and positive aspect) is that I don't seem to have a dimmer switch in the things I do. It's on or off and if its on, as Nigel from Spinal Tap might say, my volume is 11. "Go big or go home" might be a motto might friends might say about me.
Grew up in Kenai, so while not born in Alaska, I consider Alaska home.
Divorced three years ago, so I can't say I am looking for a "soul mate"...yet. I suppose with the right person it could happen. I spent a part of this summer with the "girl next door" who is like a sister to me and I had a blast! She is a little bit of a nut (She would take that as a compliment!) and I realized it would be cool to have someone to share a few of my hobbies with like food, fishing, and golf.
Definitely not into the bar scene. I'd say most of the past relationships were either introductions or the woman approached me. Shy? Maybe. More likely I am the type of person that would rather be with someone who wants to be with me versus trying all the tricks to get a date and such. I HATE the games. I have a great job & great passion for my hobbies. I used to think I could go the rest of my life being single. But this summer changed my perspective a little bit.
So if you like to eat/cook, fish or play golf drop me a line. I'm fine with just making more friends.

Date men and women from Alaska, United States. Considering the idea of a serious relationship scares people I think. I have been single for 6 years now and I find that I miss the intimate and caring concern one finds with someone else. You know, one finds a time in their life when all they are consumed with is finding that special someone. I believe it will happen eventually for everyone, but how you go about finding that person is what makes the difference. By chance or going out there and getting seen. I choose to get seen and perhaps one day I will get seen by that illusive person who is supposed to be mine. We`ll see. If you have clicked my profile than you have seen the physical, now probe into the mind and perhaps you will find a real challenge like you have not had before. Maybe you will be the one to uncover the mystery of what I am about. Do you think you can, we`ll see.

Meet a soulmate from Alaska, United States. I love to laugh. I love to smile. I love to see others laugh and smile. I love to explore and try new things. At least most new things! (lol) I love sports, especially football and basketball. All of my life i have done for others so at this point in my life i need to focus more on myself. Not being selfish (well maybe sometimes) but focusing more on my needs. I dont feel old and i have a lot to do in life. I have been blessed to have a lot of good things in my life. 6 beautiful children, 5 beautiful grandchildren with 1 more on the way in March. I have a wonderful career that has given me plenty of opportunity to meet some wonderful people and do some awesome things. My mind is constantly moving, constantly thinking. I can honestly say that i leave an impression wherever i have been. This is not bragging. I have been told this many times. At times i am somewhat of a pushover. Especially to my kids and some family members. This is both good and bad. I have some regrets in life and i have made some mistakes also. But the good things outweigh the bad things tremendously.

Date a man from United States. I've been called quirky and sometimes eccentric. It is probably true. I walk to my own beat, tend to be talkative, tend to over analyze but very shy. I can be very serious or very silly. I am not much into parties or group activities. Tend to be a loner but enjoy one-on-one or small group activities, like a nice conversation over coffee. Have a quirky or dry sense of humor. I like to take long walks with my dog. A nice walk around my place, at Earthquake Park, Kincaid, and around South Central is always fun. Must like dogs.
I'm a guy.. so physical attraction is always important but a mental connection is a must. Education does not really matter. I actually tend to gravitate towards the very down-to-earth types or the Post-grad/medical.

Meet someone special from United States. Just writing something about myself is difficult. Probably like most people, it's a comfort thing. The more I get to know someone the more at ease I am about talking about myself. Want to know more? Ask.
I am looking for someone that feels comfortable talking with me not at me. Someone who loves to laugh and have a good time. Maybe more important than anything else, someone whom I can trust and who can place their trust in me.

Date men and women from United States. So about me: I am a friendly, outgoing guy who is self-confident and likes to enjoy life. Let's talk; that's the way into my world.
And about you: You are friendly and confident in who you are. No drama. You can carry on a great conversation even it's to chit chat about absolutely nothing. You look good in jeans or a dress. You like to travel and for your guy to take good care of you. You like presents and an occasional poem. You like to shop (cuz I do) and to try new places to eat. Oh and you like to text... Meet a soulmate from United States. Basically I'm a down to earth kind of guy that finds pleasure in the simple things in life. Providing for my family, earning a decent wage, thinking of and preparing for the future, being passionate with my partner and spoiling her.
