I can be reserved or outgoing, depending on the situation. If I watch TV (which is not very often) it will be a movie, the Simpsons or nature documentaries. If I go out, I like to see live music, throw some darts, or shoot some pool.
I was raised Lutheran but I am not into organized religion right now and consider myself spiritual. The river and the woods seems to be my church for now and I am not complaining.
I love the Grateful Dead , Allman Brothers, The Band, Zepplin, Floyd, The Gourds, Sublime, Marley, Toots, Matisyahu, Taj Mahal, Dylan, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Hot Tuna, John Prine, moe, Ween, Leftover Salmon, Allison Krause and Union Station, Flaming Lips, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Primus, Widespread Panic, String Cheese... mainly jambands, old school country, folk, bluegrass, reggae and classic rock. I listen to npr if I have the radio on.
I am laid back, pretty adaptable and love learning about new things: flora, fauna, new trades or skills, new music, exploring new areas(near and far), cultures and anything that keeps me out in the woods. I am happy living a simple life and not a big fan of consumerism.

Meet a soulmate from Alaska, United States. hmmm....... well, i don't know if i'm very adept at self-analysis. what i can say is that i am, and have been for a while, trying to simplify my life. just take things as they come, one at a time. just approaching each day, one day at a time. and just being patient, humble, and honest with myself. i tend to laugh at just about everything. i guess i feel that there's very little in life worth taking so seriously that you cannot find humor in it. i've had people tell me "yeah, but there is are times and places to be serious". not that i don't agree..... but i think there is a difference between being serious and being focused, and i think i am focused and thoughtful at almost all times. i just want to enjoy life and spend my time with others who enjoy it also. i'm not trying to discover who i am. i am who i am, and i have the rest of my life to keep growing, learning, and loving. so why waste time trying to figure out who i am now and/or controling who i am going to be. i think life will do that for me. i am looking to find someone i can be myself around, no pressures. just be real and learn about each other..... and learn FROM each other. i believe things should happen the way they are supposed to. overall, i want to find someone i can genuinely be friends with as well as partners.
