Date men and women from United States / Alaska, 30 year old - page 6

Date single man from Alaska, United States. I'm just getting a feel for this whole using-the-internet-to-get-a-date thing right now. I know that this is the way things go now, but no matter how many times I hear about the success rate of this approach, I can't shake the lingering feeling that there's just a hint of desperation and/or creepiness to it. It's completely one-sided, though. I mean, I realize that if you're reading this, you've also turned to this way of things, and I don't think you're creepy. Unless you're a middle-aged man looking at my profile and think I have a "purty mouth." Then yeah, you're kind of creepy.
I in no way intend to come across as smooth here, as that would be somewhat misleading, and highly doubt that I'll even come across that way accidentally, but I do hope that I'll be able to win you over with my wit and boyish charm, so that by the time you realize what you've gotten into, it will be too late. I also plan on using my majestic chest hair. It's like a spider web that captures you and wraps you in a cocoon of brilliance. Once you're in its' grasp, there is no escape. Oh, and one thing that a lot of people don't notice; I have a really cute butt, and I feel like it's more than not unappreciated. Give it a chance, ladies, sometimes my jeans aren't the most form-fitting.
I'm open minded, and not really here with an agenda, but I guess one thing I'm looking for is an outgoing personality. I can be spontaneous, and a little off the wall. And I don't mean funky and disco-ey like the Michael Jackson album. The jokes and sarcasm will come fast and furious, and I'll need someone that can put up with that, and sometimes put me in my place. I respect that. Let's just have fun. That's what I always say. Or, this is probably the first time I've actually said that, but I'm going to incorporate it more into my day-to-day speeches.
I have a day job, Monday-Friday, 8-5, that is slowly suffocating my inner child. I've held it down for a solid 10 years and try to muffle my soul's cries of agony by being as unproductive as possible. I'm also in a band that plays regularly, all over Alaska. We have two CD's out, and it is my true passion. It's also my way of rebelling. Take that, The Man! But the day job is what pays the bills, and I'll keep at that as well until I figure out a way to make a living off of my true passion...which, you know, is the music thing. Or interpretive dance. Whichever comes first.
So that's kind of me, give or take a few lame jokes. But then again, the lame jokes are REALLY me, so, I guess you just kind of have to take them. I'm affectionate and caring, but can come across in the beginning as very sarcastic, hard to read, and maybe a little protected. I'm not looking to move into things too fast, I've done that. I just want to get together, talk, have some laughs, drinks and/or dinner, or any combination of the two, and see what happens. Insert your favorite cliche here, and repeat. If nothing else, I'll give you a good story!

Date single man from United States. I am an extremely passionate person. I love life and live it to the fullest. Im all about family and friends. And by family I mean pets too. I am very affectionate and flirty with my partner and love it in return.

Meet a man from United States. Howdy! My name is Chris. A little about me. ( I kinda think this part is a little redundant, since everyone's profile tends to look pretty similar. I love the outdoors, I'm funny, blah blah blah...really the best way to get to know someone is by asking questions) I am originally from a small town in Oregon and have been here in the Ak for a little more than 10 years. I spent a little time at Oregon State University (go beavers!) before joining the Army. I am a fairly adventurous guy. I have a few hobbies including scuba, snow machining, camping, riding my Harley, and etching glass. I do actually enjoy the outdoors and get out as much as I can. I think I'm a pretty funny guy, but you would have to judge for yourself. I am full of trivia and have been told I am a pretty bright individual. I am a horrible speller... Thank the lord for spellcheck! I love movie quotes. There is a lot more to me than any paragraph can begin to contain. What do you want to know about me?
I am pretty open to new things. Anything you would like to know just ask

Date someone special from United States. Hello, my name is Matt and Im looking for someone to spend time with and share some great memories. I recently moved to Kenai and I love to hunt and fish in my free time. Some other things I enjoy are camping, hiking, road trips, quiet nights at home and enjoying the outdoors. I am looking for a like minded person who is stable, knows what she wants out of life and is loyal and non judgemental. If this sounds like you I would love to meet you and see where it goes.

Meet men and women from United States. I'm an optimist. I like finding positives in life's toughest challenges. I try my hardest to always keep a positive attitude in every situation because it's healthy and makes life so much more enjoyable!
Although I love traveling, there is no place like home. I love the feeling of coming home after being away - traveling for a long time.
I'm most proud of completing my first marathon, becoming an Eagle Scout and defending my country while deployed 16 consecutive months to Iraq with the Army.
I'm grateful for my health, education and family.
I'm hoping to meet someone who values the importance of friendship in a relationship. Building a friendship with the person you're in a relationship with is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. I'm hoping to attract someone looking for the same thing in a relationship.
While I love spending time at home, I'm always doing something social. BBQs, cooking dinners, going out for drinks, coffee, shopping etc. is way more fun to do with other people, than sitting at home alone.
Not sure what I'm looking for in a relationship, but I know when find it.

Date people from United States. I am an easy-going intelligent guy that just moved up to Alaska from Colorado 2 months ago so I am still trying to experience everything I can up here. I try to spend time outside as much as I can, hiking, backpacking and camping are all things that I love to do in my free-time. I love to go to the bars with friends and have a night of playing pool, bowling, or anything else that everyone can get together just enjoy themselves and have fun. I would like to meet someone as active as I am, isn't afraid of adventure and wants to experience life to the fullest while sharing life's little twists and turns together.

Meet a soulmate from United States. I would love to meet someone to spend time with and talk to, with whom I could develop a friendship, and if more than that so much the better. It's great to think about all of the ambitious exciting things that two people could do together, but I don't think that there is much better than having someone that you can really talk to. I really value loyalty and trust in personal relationships. If you've got my back, I've go your back. I like to approach life with the ability to laugh at myself. I have a somewhat eccentric sense of humor (eyes roll), but I really just like finding reasons to smile or laugh whenever I can. Some things have to be taken seriously, but beyond that it is best to relax and enjoy.
I can be a bit of a recluse when left to myself, but I would love to have someone to get out and do things with. I can find just as much enjoyment sitting on the couch reading a good book as I can going out looking for adrenaline rushes; I appreciate both. I would like to travel more in the future, see more of the world. I am kind of a geek, but in moderation. I have my particular quirks about a few things, but for the most part I am pretty open minded and easygoing, and I think that meeting someone compatible can't really be predicted by making a list of "preferences" because that doesn't account for how fantastically individual we all are. You never know how good a friend (or more) anyone could be until you get to know them.
It would be great to meet someone who is both easygoing and passionate; I feel like maintaining a good relationship requires being able to appreciate small things and other people knowing their flaws and idiosyncrasies, and that living a worthwhile life requires pursuing something meaningful. Did that make sense? Sometimes it's hard to say something in a coherent way. ; )
