I'm from the state of MARYLAND (Waldorf) and I do miss it a little bit but I've been living in Alaska for 2 yrs and loving it. I am still exploring the sights and activities of Alaska. I like to Lift weights and I love to run outside all year around, YES even in the sub zero temps. I've had moose chase me on my runs around town so I chase them BACK! I AIN'T SCARED!!
I have an excellent job with great benefits and the opportunity to travel to places that most people can't find on a map. Eventually I might get to go one day. Laugh Out Loud!

I'm pretty sarcastic about most things and all my friends get it but if you don't then your probably not gonna be my friend. I like to joke around all the time as long as the situation calls for it or needs it.
My favorite music would have to be Country, Island Jamz, 80s and early 90s music but I'm easily adaptable. Anything that will make my toe tap is fine with me. Also, I'm pretty much the Karaoke King in these parts so if you want to challenge my throne just let me know.

I'm a meteorologist, that weather guy - but not one you will see on TV. You know those annoying warnings that pop on TV or the radio for nasty storms or even tornadoes (ok - not so much in Anchorage - but back when I worked in Chicago)? I'm one of a dozen guys that pressed that red button to issue a warning. Now that's a little different, right?? I've lived in Illinois for most of my life, spent 2008 to 2010 in Anchorage....then came back the ol' windy city...but now I just moved back. I enjoy setting goals for myself and like the challenge of pushing myself to achieve them. Does that sound like you? Lets go out and be silly on a river walk, or go on a hike or find some random place to eat downtown. In those moments of downtime...give me a stream to fish, mountains to hike (when I'm not in Illinois...), landscapes to photograph, bands to see, places to explore and I'll be plum happy. I'll toss in that cliche comment that I don't mind the at home, and sit in times. Who doesn't?

For almost 5 years I played in bands around the state, entertaining in all kinds of venues from coffe shops with my acoustic guitar, to the late night bar crowds with a full electric loud rock band. Sadly, being a rock star on the weekends wasn't the best career choice. In result, I don't play nearly as much since I've devoted more time to building my career, and making the best life possible for my daughter and I. I work a lot in the summer managing a concrete company, but I do get to play more in the winter. I get a lot of satisfaction out of what I do for a living.
There are a lot of things that I value in a relationship. Like always having somebody to laugh with, and being able to give somebody all my trust and confidence. Though, I do take care of my own, so I want to meet a girl that is independant, and can support herself also. I have a 10 year old daughter that lives with me as close to full time as work will allow. She is a huge part of why I am who I am now, and will always come first.

Well I guess the first thing about myself is that I very much enjoy my time at home, I don't really go out much and prefer it that way which is in part what brought me to match.com. I'm not really sure what else to say here except that I am looking for someone who is much like myself, someone who enjoys being with their partner but also values their time alone.
I am what most would consider a homebody, but that doesn't mean I don't like going places I just prefer to spend my free time relaxing at home. I am also a bit of a gamer, however, I haven't really been doing much gaming lately except a little Skyrim and Civ 5. Kind of hoping a new mmo will come out soon that will get me back into the genre but nothing released lately has really held my interest.

Grow up in Alaska and never have left other then for a few brief times. I have a rather Dominant mind sit. However do strive to keep a open mind to understand other peoples reasoning. I am still a virgin so that should be a clue that I am not interested in jumping in bed with just any one. But am looking for some one I can count on and have family with.
I enjoy living a simple life and have my goals. Right now focus on paying off a couple debts that well be out of the way in couple years. Hope then that I will have some one I can sit down with and plan out some new goals.
I am not much of one of getting out less I am in a relationship. But when going out with some one I do not mind being the chauffeur and paying for everything when I plan the evening. Yet it does not mean later on you can not treat me to some thing special that you plan. How ever I do not mind the idea of being in relationship with smoker, yet I will push you to quit. Sense I do not care to be around people wile they are doing it, or even being close to them when they smell of it. To me it to much like bad heavy perfume and makes it hard for me to breath.
