Basically on days off from a professional grind, I'm still a liberal 50's dead-head surfer who enjoys tropical places or a mountain stream fly fishing. You don't have to fish, but please love the outdoors. At times I'm a 'naturist' shedding those tan lines. I'm 'built for comfort not speed'. You might call me Fabio's dad; 61yo, 5'11''ft, long hair, 220#, a passionate bear who meanders not a stallion doing triathalons or tats for motorcycle runs. Life is secured economically and I'm flexible with anything that can develop a great journey in life. Its time to get work out of the way (next couple years) and discovering who I am when 'I grow up' in retirement.
I love traveling mostly to warm tropical places. Over last 7 years, I've spent 7 months on Aitutaki Atoll (Google it),Cook Islands snorkeling, fly fishing, admiring black pearls and loving this tropical blue lagoon. Spain and southern France by car in 2006 was an easy and fun adventure too.
Love simple cuisine with a view, cuddling to a movie, enjoying beverages, most cuisines, sunsets and excursions like most everyone says. I drink responsibly mostly as part of cuisine, but, less and less each year. I love being at home most evenings cooking dinner, enjoying a favorite beverage and sharing mutual conversation. Gardening, landscaping, home design and making things unique are a lot of fun.
Ok, I must admit 'good' sushi tops the eats list.

I believe chivalry still lives so expect courtesy and honesty. I'm past any mid-life crisis's, so I desire a woman 55-70 in a comparable life stage. Seems there's so many fabulously a beautiful women in this age group that there's not problem reinventiing our vibrant and loving youth together. The difference between now and the 60-70's is now we have the money to do what we wish with the same vibrance.

I'm someone who needs regular excursions to natural areas, not too changed by man, to really appreciate being alive. It's so refreshing and rejuvenating to spend a day walking in the forest or at the beach. I like variety in my existance but also need to have routine. Too much variety and I tend to feel scattered. Really like to spend time on the water kayaking, not white water, but exploring quiet streams, rivers, lakes and estuaries. I enjoy camping and day hikes. Have done some backpacking and bicycle touring. Also have traveled to 15 states on my motorcycle.
Could just about go out and photograph any sunset. I like nature photography and unusual patterns or lighting effects. Like my job, feel I do good for the citizens of California. I'm looking for someone who also enjoys variety and activities in life, not sit around and watch TV couch dweller. I have a TV with an antenna. I don't have the desire to have more channels to flip through. Favorite shows are Seinfeld reruns, The Office and 60 minutes. Also like Nature, California's Gold and other travel shows.
I'm a real handyman, take on any project to attempt to make it work. Do almost all my home repairs, painting, install dishwasher, plumbing etc.. I'm a a Mr. Fix-It, like to take anything apart that's not working. Always can put it back together.
