. I am pretty easy to please and enjoy doing lots of different things. I love to watch football (even like to kick a football every now and then), love the water (especially at sunset), crazy about the mountains, and really enjoy listening to a live band. I like such a vast array of music. I really like jazz, something with a really good beat. I like soft rock, oldies, and then some classical. Growing up I took piano and Debussey is my favorite classical artist. My Granddaddy was a choir director so I have a very natural clinging to the old hymns. I like GOOD MUSIC...Yeah,Yeah!!!
I really enjoy working in the yard. Love the smell of fresh cut grass. Grilling out on a cool spring night with a little glass of wine is great fun. At times I like to dress up and go out to eat and maybe take in a movie; but on the other hand, staying home, getting a pizza and watching a movie with a special someone is loads of fun too.
I have two children who have blessed me with three wonderful grandchildren. All three are young so I try to help with them as much as possible. There is something about a grandchild that makes me just light up, some of my happiest times are shared with them.
I taught first and second grades for 33 years and what I miss most are... the children. Having taught young children all of my adult life, I work part-time keeping little ones now.
I am a Southern girl through and through and happy to write that. I like doing things like browsing an antique store, riding on a country road in the summertime with the windows down (or maybe the top down) and stopping at a stand for some fresh tomotoes. I make a mean BLT. Seems like the simple things in life make me the happiest.
