1) I’m a Hopeless Romantic – I adore romance in a relationship. I especially love hugs and snuggling, holding hands, and giving and receiving back rubs. I also like exchanging surprise gifts and lovenotes! Romance puts the spice into a relationship and helps keep it fresh!!
2) My Sense of Humor – I love to laugh and to make others laugh, too! I can find humor in just about any situation. Laughter is good for the soul. Plus it causes fewer facial wrinkles and burns more calories than frowning! Are you at least smiling now?

7) I Appreciate the Arts – I hold a degree in music, and enjoy many different genres of music including jazz, blues, big band, bluegrass, classical, and 70’s rock. I like going to museums, art festivals, the symphony, plays and comedy shows.
8) I Love Nature – Just look around outside. We are provided with so many strikingly beautiful things to enjoy, from flowering bushes and plants to trees, forests and plains, rivers and lakes, mountains!! I keep birdfeeders filled in hopes of having visits from various songbirds throughout the year. I walk in the woods anticipating special surprises from Mother Nature. I like boating and fishing in the rivers or delta, day or night. I love sunrises and sunsets, as well as starry skies! We are surrounded by innumerable pleasures outside available for our enjoyment!
9) Comfort and Stability – I have been told more than once that I am comfortable and easy to be with. I have an easy going nature that will put you at ease. I will be there for you. I have lived at the same place for 24 years. I have kept the same job for 17 years and enjoy it more all the time!!

Date a woman from Alabama, United States. I find myself very happy with myself at this point in my life, so I'm wondering what it would be like to take that comfort level out into the world. For a long while up to a year ago, I would have brought all sorts of angst with me. Now, since I'm at the point of thoroughly enjoying what I have, I'd look for new things to add to that list.
I want honesty and open-mindedness and someone who laughs without an undercurrent of cruelty.
I wouldn't mind discussing my lack of belief in gods, but I don't sit still for evangelizing. Some of my feminist beliefs have changed since I was 12, but I began developing them back then, and only a few of them got dropped along the way. I certainly haven't any interest in someone who ignores what I tell him, but I must admit that it's a perfect indicator for a scam. It only took one copy/paste into Google for an email I got today to discover a message lifted directly from earlier identified Nigerian scam artists.
It may turn out that online dating is not for me, that I'd do better saving my money to go to TAM or Rock Beyond Belief. It isn't that I can't be lighthearted and giggly and fun; it's that I have to think that you see me as being more than that before I play. It isn't that I can't be supportive and cuddly and admiring; it's that I have to have some trust that those things are mutual for reasons we both understand, not just because they're accepted/expected as the next thing to do.
