I like to spend time outside working on the house, yard, or truck. This sounds cliche but I often close out the night with a walk outside to look up in the sky. I am not intimidated by the challenges or responsibilities of kids unless we are talking something on the order of the Duggars or Kate plus 8. Kids tend to get attached to me pretty quickly because I haven't forgotten how to be a big kid. And I don't just automatically let kids win or cheat at Sorry, Monopoly, or hide-n-seek on crisp autumn nights - they have to earn it! All joking aside, I try not to take myself too seriously but I am a loyal friend who also enjoys serious conversation. And I honestly can't remember the last time I told someone I was bored. I seek out challenges and try new things. I like to pick something off the menu I have never had before. I am looking for a woman who is comfortable in her own skin, can laugh at herself, and knows how to occasionally let go of the day-to-day, but is not afraid to have a smart conversation or put her nose to the grindstone to do something important. I attend church weekly, and doing that keeps me close to my family and church family, which is a big part of my life, and from now on will be. Work, I travel a lot, but not many over night stays, but long hours on the road.
I would love to have another child one day (soon, I'm getting to old to chase them around the yard). My date would have to accept my son, and treat him no diffrent than there own, and accept that I do have an exwife and have to deal with her from time to time about our son.
