I don't think I would be where I am in life with good parents and the simple life I came from. Please don't underestimate me from my background. I've come a long way since then, but honestly, if you do, you're probably not what I'm looking for anyway. I'm looking for a woman that loves to be spoiled by her man, but loves to spoil him back. I think it's important want to take care of each other in a relationship and want to please each other. As for my life, in short, I grew up on a small farm in Elgin, AL...some of the best years of my life. You really don't appreciate how great life is until you get a little older I guess. I spent a little over 4 years as a jet aircraft mechanic on Harriers when i was in the Marine Corps. I love serving my country and think it's the greatest honor I've ever experienced...fortunately, I still get to serve my country these days as well. I traveled all over the U.S. and spent 6 months on an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea. After I got out of the Corps....actually, the reason i got out, was to better myself and do something more. I think the Corps made me realize how much I can achieve if I just put in the effort. So I went to college to become an Aerospace Engineer. A bit of hard work, but its paid off. I have a job I love and still get to serve my country. I've traveled a lot, but have eased back on that these days. I enjoy being home more and spending time with my family and those closest to me. If you want more details...maybe we can catch up over email sometime. Anyway, let's get to why I'm here. Personally, I'm a romantic at heart. I love to spoil the one I'm with. I can be a little hard headed sometimes, but listen to the opinions of those closest to me. I'm looking for someone with a big heart that is close to their family. I love someone that is outgoing and enjoys trying new things, but doesn't mind relaxing at home and watching a movie. I've seen a lot of things and have been a lot of places. If you like travel, that's a plus....I still have lots of places I want to see. I love to experience all facets of life as much as possible...you only live once... I'm all about cooking dinner and enjoying a glass of wine with that special someone...then maybe watching a movie, or just entertaining each other with good conversation. I'm a man who knows what he wants, but doesn't usually waste time with what I don't.
