I am first a single parent of a handsome 9 year old boy. We are very active together and do everything from throwing the football in the backyard to bicycling. I am also the coach of his soccer team of which he is undoubtedly the star. (i may be a little biased but we have third party verification) lol. We are also some of the biggest Alabama fans I know and love going to football games.
Of course, having a 9 year requires alot of energy and strength, not to mention patients, so i workout with wieghts 3-4 times a week. its something i really enjoy doing and hope to continue doing it as long as i am able. Getting into a healthy exercise routine spawned the need to eat healthy and now i'm looking for creative new foods and meals that satisfy both body and taste buds and i have to say that it has been a challenging venture. The up side is that i love almost all types of foods but really have a taste for seafood.
As far as work is concerned, I currently work in a family owned business as a 3rd generation tile artisan and i have been doing this for 10yrs. It's hard work but its very rewarding as I love being able to look back on my work and see what I've accomplished and how I progress. However, changes in the current economy as well as consideration about my health have driven me to pursue a career in sports medicine which i plan to begin studying for next fall.
