What I am looking for is someone who is ready for a relationship. Someone who enjoys spending time with me, like I do with them. Regardless if that’s just sitting on the couch watching a football game, or about to jump out of airplane and go skydiving. Someone who is honest, trustworthy, and dependable. Someone who takes me for who I am.
A little about me:
I’m a single father of an 8 yr old boy. I’ve raised my son on my own for the past 4 years. I’ve had my highs (birth of my children) and my lows (passing of one child), and everything else in between. Hence my quote “Life isn’t always beautiful, but it’s a beautiful ride”. I live life by the golden rule, and I believe that “everything happens for a reason”.
I’m self sufficient, honest, trustworthy, dependable, humble and loyal. I’m a one woman kind of guy. I know how to cook (everyone likes my biscuits), and actually enjoy cooking. I just don’t like cleaning up the mess afterwards. I enjoy college football (Roll Tide!), watching Discovery Channel, Big Bang Theory, and even the Food Channel. As for music, it’s a little bit of everything, country, rock, oldies, and Christian…just to name a few.

I live each day with the goal to be a better person when I lay down that night then I was when I woke up that morning. My children and I attend church regularly and being involved in community service is very important to me. I also relish learning new things about the world around us and how it works.
I enjoy anything outdoors and adventurous. I am a runner with 3 marathons completed. I have found it hard to train for another marathon as a single dad but still can manage to complete half marathons. I am not necessarily looking for someone to run half marathons with but I would count it a great treat if I found a partner in crime at 5k events. I recently acquired a road bike and look forward to getting more into triathlon events. The swimming will be what kills me.
Huge SEC football fan, War Eagle!, but I am also all for anything positive for the state, therefore you will not find me bashing the Tide. I really enjoy catching a Braves game when the opportunity presents itself. Hunting is something I enjoy from time to time but I am not real big into it. More something I do for spending time with the guys in our family.
I hope to meet someone with similar interests and goals as I have. Honesty and respect are very important to me. The journey is the reward so I look forward to meeting new people through this avenue. I was raised a die-hard Alabama fan and still follow the Tide religiously, but I am not one of those fans who has to constantly bad-mouth Auburn or any other team (except Tennesee ; )
