We try to get together at least every couple weeks to go hiking somewhere close. Health is important to me and I try to cook as many meals as possible. I workout 3 times a week and walk 3 1/2 miles a day. I want to live a long life so I can be there for my family and friends. From a family perspective, I believe sitting down at the dinner table even if its just take out. I believe enjoying good food and discussing the day is an important part of family life. When I do stay in, I prefer to spend most of that time either on the porch and in the hot tub chatting it up.
My professional life is pretty simple. I have held a job or worked since I was 14 and have never been unemployed since. Currently, I work for a tech firm and have been with them over 10 years. I am very driven and most of my goals have revolved around work. I'm not even going to try and begin to explain what I do at work because we would be here forever but in general I manage a warehouse, do purchasing, design the logistics and processes the company runs on. If someone can't figure out how to make something happen within the company processes or needs some kind of specialized report they ask me for help. I love my job and it helps to keep my mind sharp since I am constantly having to think of new ways to apply proven concepts.
