Date single man from Alabama, United States. I'm fairly new here in the Huntsville area, been here about six months. I've made a lot of new friends in that time, but it's mostly guys in the circles I move in, and it's hard to meet nice young women. That's why I'm here.
I come from East Central Florida, the Orlando and Space Coast region. I'm a UF grad, Go Gators! Went there for both my undergraduate degree and my graduate work, though I ended up not being able to get my Masters. Still, though, it's nice to have tried and learned my own limits.
I'm more of a city guy than a country guy, so it's a bit of a switch coming to this area. Everyone's really nice though, so at least I'll have friends during the transition. I usually listen to alternative rock, I'm a big fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mutemath. I'm a big reader, mostly fiction though right now I'm reading a first-person perspective of the development of the stealth fighter - interesting stuff! I like going to the theater and concerts, movies and stuff are nice but there's nothing like a live performance. Sporting events are a good time too, I had fun checking out Huntsville Havoc hockey when the season was going on. I try to stay active, going to the gym and playing racquetball, and I've taken up Crossfit recently.
In a date, I'm looking for someone who is smart, cultured, and fun. Someone flexible, who have a good time at a wine tasting, cheer at a football game, or just hang out in sweats and watch a movie around the house. Someone who can work hard at what they do, because mutual respect is very important in a relationship, but ideally who could leave it all at work after the day is done.
