Here is what I think most of you want to know so far: I know my way around a kitchen and can sometimes pull off cooking a decent meal. I am very easy going and can usually find something interesting in almost any setting, or event. I like to take a random road trip once in a while and have been known to check out obscure festivals and places that are off the beaten path. I am trying this site because bars and clubs really aren't my style and I am a member of a very small church that is lacking in the single lady department.

I love to run, go to the pool, watch movies, and attend church. My biggest love is to sit around a bonfire all night and just talk. Giving this online thing a shot and would love to make some friends. Work, family, and college pretty much chews up most of my day. Weekends are a whole different ball game...
Trying to get back up to running another half-marathon. Seem to just fall apart when I train. Attending college full-time online, double major will be complete in a year. Looking to go straight into a Master's degree program right after. In the military as well, over half way to retirement. My not so exciting jobs is to process college transcripts for the Community College of the Air Force. I am honestly happy just to have a job, the economy doesn't seem to be doing all that great.

I'm an intelligent , quirky, sometimes sarcastic (I'm working on this!) guy that strives to be as good of a man as I possibly can. I can be really old fashioned, for example I ALWAYS open the door for women. I take relationships very seriously and want a woman that appreciates it when a man goes that extra mile to make you smile. I am not into going to bars, partying, and everything else that goes with that. If you are looking for someone to go party with, you may as well stop reading here. As for the things I like to do, I love being outside, and want a partner that enjoys this as well. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and fishing are some of my favorite hobbies. I can be really outgoing, but I am also content with lazy afternoons in front of the tv. I have an extremely wide variety of interests, and am always up for trying new things!
As for things I am looking for in someone....the most important thing is that you have a kind heart. My personal life, and my career, revolves around helping others and I would like to find someone who feels as strongly about this as I do. If having a lot of money is really important to you, then I am probably not for you. I strive for success in everything I do, but the line of work I am in will not make me rich!
Where I am at in life: right now I am about to start my last year at the University of North Alabama. In Spring 2013 I will graduate with a Bachelor in Social Work, and will start school for my Masters in Social Work as soon as I graduate. I am also certified as an Addiction Professional and will be certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in a few months. I am currently working two jobs. I work with developmentally disabled adults and also teach outpatient substance abuse classes.

Date a soulmate from United States. Trying to describe myself is a little hard because everybody sees something else in you and always has a different opinion. I would have to say I’m very laid back, quiet, passionate, generous, easy going, energetic. I smile often because I believe that it is contagious. If I am able to make someone else smile or laugh then my daily mission has been accomplished. Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, fishing, Ice skating, boating. I am always up for trying new things but I just need to find someone to do them with. I have a four wheel drive that I have yet to go mudding in….any takers? Going to amusement park is one of my most favorite things to do. I’ve been to many all along the eastern coast. Disney world is by far my favorite. I try to go at least once or twice a year. That is the one place I believe that you are never too old to have fun.
I am looking for someone that has a good head on their shoulders and knows what they want in life. Someone who is active and has a lot of the same interests is a must. I have many more hobbies/activities that I enjoy doing but the list is too long to write on here. If you have kids, that is not a problem for me. I love being around kids and making them smile. I did an internship with Disney and one of the most memorable things was playing with and entertaining the kids. It is a simple way to remember your youth and to not grow old and grumpy.

I tend to take the common sense approach to things which means I wont put up with games, drama, hypocrisy, or ridiculous attitudes. I generally say what I mean, and expect others to do the same. That doesn't mean that I am blunt to the point of cruel as I treat everyone with respect and generally expect others to do the same. However, I won't lie about something in fear that the other person may get offended. Nor will I compromise my morals trying to please people. Some might consider that rude but consider this: I might be stubborn but I will never lie to you. So you can have the perfect guy that will eventually disappoint you or you can have the good guy that you will always know where you stand and you can trust what he says. Personally I would much rather have somebody that I can trust and respect than somebody that I eventually find to be completely out there.
Other than that, my son is the most important thing in the world to me. My career is also extremely important to me. I have to travel quite a bit and deploy various places every now and again so if you require constant reassurance and somebody hovering over you, I don't think that we would mesh well. If you are self-confident, driven, and know the time and place to be mature and the time and place to cut loose and go wild, then I think we will get along fine. Any other questions just ask.

Meet single man from United States. Well I was born and raised in Daphne/Spanish Fort area and have lived in Mobile for four years now. This place is home and I dont see myself ever leaving. I have great family and friends that I enjoy spending lots of time with. I also spend quite a bit of my time in my kayak. I enjoy fishing and just relaxing out on the water. Playing golf is something I find very challenging; all though, I dont play as much as I would like to. Good beer and good tunes are a must have and I dont mind spending the day on my couch when the weather calls for it.
