Quite a few people are amazed I'm single and I believe if I wasn't so nervous around a woman I find attractive, I wouldn't be here.
Just tried asking a girl out today actually and realized I have no game what so ever lol. But I'm smart enough, even through the panic attack, to know when a lady's not interested. They usually don't ask you any questions and are probably wondering when you will leave them alone. I've even gotten a few of the dummy phone numbers and would've rather had them tell me to my face that they weren't interested than to get my hopes up.
I'm usually a calm and collected thinker(when I'm not trying to ask someone out) but in retrospect I can be pretty random sometimes. I have a very open mind so I'll do just about anything new. I also have a broad spectrum of different music I like , I pretty much listen to anything but not much country or heavy metal where all they do is scream haha.
My passions are gaming, anime, reading, martial arts, looking up stupid stuff on youtube(I mean who doesnt right?), rock climbing, and trying out many new things. I'm always up for new and interesting things and adventures. Believe it or not, I'm actually quite handy since I was in construction for 4 years. Hard to believe right? I mean look at this awesome indoor tan! ahahaha!

I bought an iPhone in January (huge deal for me cause I have been anti apple products for years) and I cannot understand how I lived life without one of these things. It is awesome! I used a calorie counter app and sicne February I have lost 25 pounds and am maintaining a healthier weight and lifestyle lik I never have before.
To be honest, I am not really picky. I am looking for someone who shares alot of my interests and is an open person. I'm originally from Pennsylvania (A northerner *gasp*), and still getting used to the South, but I think I'll call this place "home" for a while.
I am a nerd, but not your typical one: I'm an engineer, I play video games (yes I consider myself a gamer), watch anime, etc. But I also go swing dancing, exercise regularly, like trying new things, running, jumping, climbing trees, exploring new places and having new experiences. The most important things to me are family, honesty, and sense of adventure. For me, my friends are my family and I'm very protective of them. Someone who doesn't find the idea of going skydiving exciting and fun isn't for me. I have strong ties to the military because of my service and that has shaped my willingness to help those in need.
A night of exploring, conversation, dinner, and dancing would make for a great night, but a first date for me should be something other than dinner and a movie. On a regular night out, I would rather go to a hole-in-the-wall bar or cafe with live music where we can talk than a loud, crowded "dance" club any day.
