I'm a singer and a musician and an actor. I am deeply and fiercely devoted to my craft. I've been singing since I could talk and I first picked up a trumpet when I was two years old. I started playing piano soon after and guitar after that. I now play five instruments fluently and love playing any instruments I can get my hands on.
I don't say this to brag but to provide insight to my situation. I am in love with what I do, but it has at times left me quite lonely.
My profession lends itself to skewed perceptions of who I really am. On stage, I have have character and a persona that doesn't always reflect who I am underneath and I have had issues in past relationships because of this.
