My social life is pretty lame by normal 23 year old guy standards. I drink alcohol only when it is practically forced on me by my family, I do not smoke or do any sort of drugs. I do not enjoy going to parties or concerts. I love having one on one conversations with people in order to share information or analyze different situations or people. I love playing, watching, and attending sporting events. I have a handful of very good friends that I hang out with all the time, but it is not a group of us. I believe I am personable and friendly to everyone and that most people like me; however, I do not feel as though I enjoy doing the things that most people enjoy doing which results in me being someone that people can talk to, but not hang out with because I’m boring (and I’m okay with that).
My outlook on everything I do is a “glass is half empty” mentality because I believe that there is always something further that one can do to improve situations. However, when the task is complete, I am a “glass is half full” type of person because I try to look on the bright side of things.
