John Lennon once said that life is what happens while we are making other plans. How true......Life is full of ups and downs. Some things happen by chance and some we seem to bring on ourself. Some we just allow to happen and some we chase until we make them happen. Either way we seem to have some control over it even though there are times we choose not to use that control to influence the outcome. If we knew the outcome of every situation we'd probably try to avoid most of the downs in life by not taking a chance on anything.....sticking your neck out so to speak. If we never take any risks we'll never know if that one risk we didn't take could have been the best thing that ever happened to us. We shouldn't let good things in life pass us by out of the fear of what the outcome will be. I think Garth Brooks had it right when he sang the song "The Dance". Things in life don't always end as we would like but the time between the beginning and the end, the dance, seem to be worth it in the long run. The best things in life are still free. The two most important are to have something to look forward to and someone to love.

Meet men and women from United States. Let me think where to start. How about an update since I have lived in Huntsville over 2 years after living in Colorado Springs for almost 15 years. The first couple of years here have been quite interesting and I have met some amazing people. Now that I am 50 I am looking forward to moving on with my live. I really like the house I bought in Hampton Cove and it is only a 20 minute drive to my office on Redstone.
Both of my children are grown, my daughter is 22 and my son 21 and they both decided to stay in Colorado Springs when I moved down here. It was hard to leave them since they had lived with me since before the divorce but they need to grow up and try and make it on their own so this is what is best for them. Just makes for a very empty house.. I like to think I am an athletic person that tries to work out to keep in shape but these last few years have been extremely busy and I have slipped on the exercise.
I do travel quite a bit, not every other week but it does come in spurts, I can be here for a couple of months between trips or if there is a new project I can travel a couple of times in the same month. My job has given me some amazing opportunities to go to some very cool places. Europe, Boston, California, Hawaii, Kwajalein to just name a few.
I am looking for a woman that is in the same place or chapter of life as me. Somebody who is happy with who they are and where life has brought them. I would say no drama but that is impossible to ask for, in this day and age everybody has some, I just ask that it be well managed.
