Meet a soulmate from United States. I'm looking for a stable, long-term relationship with someone to grow old together. Since I've moved and traveled a lot in the past that hasn't been in the cards for me. However, I am now settled in Huntsville now and don't imagine moving any time soon (see below). I stay pretty active with outdoor activities, sports, and taking care of my house.
I like good food of almost any type and a good beer now and again (from my time in England and Portland, OR), but am not into the bar scene - wish the US had more pubs like in England. I also like history and learning new things; so much of the world is fascinating and neat to learn about. Though settled now, I'm thankful for being able to live in other countries and experience things from a different perspective - probably why my political views don't fit into any neat category. I still like to travel occasionally but usually not to touristy places. I like quiet things in life and live fairly simply, and cetainly appreciate that I have a comfortable life now.
I have a sligt hearing loss - probably why I am not in the loud bar scene - but get along fine without hearing aids. I have a 4yr daughter in town that I love dearly so obviously I am looking for someone that I can trust around her. I am also very fortunate that I have a good job and great boss.
