I’m currently looking for a great person to accept me as who I am, and I promise to do the same to them; respectively; and;; honestly. Someone who is willing to take one day at a time and give back what I’m willing to give them in return, simple. I would enjoy getting to know someone on their terms as well. It is a give and take thing that works when it is the goal of both. Really feel that there is a Lady out there that can be my best friend first (Match)!!! It is a complicated world we live in and being open to everyday day events and needs are the test of time and the individual as a true “best” friend. My parents have been married for 60 years this summer!!! Awesome I have a 25 year old daughter in Indiana as a nurse in ICU.
I have a house in Chattanooga that I try to get home from time to time to visit family. Its a fun place to visit, lots to do. Just need a "Best Friend" to help travel with! :) Quick weekend trips to a city of plenty to do!!! Water less tha 2 miles away...
I also started working out a lot and really enjoy it. Great fitness center here.

It’s been many years since any woman has sparked my passion for a long term relationship. Though an LTR is something I want, I dont "need" it to be happy. Perfectly happy with me, what I have, and where I am going. I have learned more about me in the last 5 years than I have my entire life. So a little about "me".
I have a warm heart and enjoy life, even by myself. I really enjoy getting together with my kids and spending ANY time together. They are teenagers so they have their own things to do. Dad isn't at the top of the list, so I take what time I can get.
I'm a total giver and try to live my life that way in all I do, see, and touch. I only take what I need to provide for my family and myself and give what's left to others. (That statement runs off the gold diggers, and good luck in your treasure hunt) I'm trying to instill that in my young men, but some teenagers have a hard time grasping the concept. I lead by example and know one day they will understand.
I live in a “drama free zone” as best I can, but like I said, I have two teenage boys, so there’s a little that crops up from time to time.(Nothing Dad can’t handle.) I have learned not to take myself to seriously as a result.
I have a great sense of humor (albeit somewhat obscure at times). I’m also quick witted and a little sarcastic.
Like the profile states, I'm carrying a few extra pounds and have been working hard to take them off. I'm no stranger to fitness, I simply lost my way for a time.
I believe in balance between work and play. Definitely not a type A personality, but I'm not lazy either. I can lead and make decisions and am comfortable letting my partner do the same.
