Date people from Alabama, United States. I am never sure what to tell people about me because I am never real sure what they want to know. How do people do this if you go on, and on about yourself you come across as a braggart, but if you don't write enough then you come across as a wallflower. There is a question to ask "On the braggart to wallflower scale how would you rate yourself? I think family and friends are more important than work, but I know you have to work to eat and take care of your family and friends. I belive the man should hold open car doors and building doors. I think he should pay for the date also. I have been told I tend to be a little to old-fashioned. In fact a friend at work once told me I was born 100 years to late. I am a volunteer fire fighter but I would not say I'm overly brave. I like college football "Go Vols", but I don't go out of the way to watch a game I like to go fishing, working in my yard, I not a pro basketball fan but I do like to watch the last few minutes of a college ball game if it is close. I'm not a knight in shining armor, more like dented and dinge armor, by that I mean I an not perfect not even close. I would much rather talk about my date and how her day went than me, I can and will talk about myself if I need to. Yes I did graduate from college but my worst subject is English. About my date I hope we could be friends, and see how things go from there. I hope she would have a mind or her own, and not be someone who would be "...I don't know what ever you think.." But at the same time I honestly do not think I would do well with "..its my way or the highway Mr..." I hope we would be able to talk about things and respect each others views. We could talk about anything from why is the sky blue, to how we would try to fix the world! Of course knowing the whole time that we can't fix the world, but it might be nice to try. I hope that we could be serious when we had to be but could be silly almost child like in private and public. Not the falling down drunk kinda of silly, but the look at those two there having together and enjoying being out togther.
In short someone who could be themselves and allow me to be myself a friend and confidante.
Someone, who I would make me strive to be my best not because they demand it, but because they deserve it. But would still be willing to claim me when I step in it. Like 95% of all men do.
