OK, so about me; well, let's see...I am 5-3 and weigh 325 pounds - which I consider "slender." I live with my Mom, who also usually goes out with me. I like to cut the grass in a thong and workboots and I have a really cool collection of Star Trek figures! Oh yeah, and I have webbed toes - hope that's not an issue. OK, so by now you're either still with me and laughing or you've run away screaming! Seriously, though, I am an easy going guy (can be silly at times) and tend to balance my "go with the flow" attitude about life with alot of passion and energy on anything that means alot to me. Generally, I'm looking for someone who is also easy going and fun - someone to have laughs with, try new things, do dinners and beach trips, and also curl up on the couch with a good movie or just hang out listening to great music.
You can't take yourself too seriously in life, but from a professional standpoint, you have to have passion about and believe in something outside of you. For me, I am passionate about alternative energy and am in senior executive management in that field and have been having an incredible journey working on getting a new company launched in this area.
As far as hobbies and activities, I love music and I play guitar and drums and used to be lead singer in a bar band a few years back. I also like rebuilding old cars and ususally have a project car in the works. Right now I have a '69 Corvette in the garage in a thousand pieces! If you know how to turn a wrench, we can rebuild my engine together (oops, did I say that out loud?!) I also love football and lacrosse (I was captain of my college lacrosse team - whoo hoo!), especially Bama football - Roll Tide! I exercise regularly and enjoy walking my dogs.
I have a beautiful, super-cool daughter, who is sweet and creative and also loves music just like her Daddy! I also have two awesome dogs!
I love the beach and have traveled quite a bit including overseas. But my favorite place is probably still the beautiful Gulf Coast which we are so lucky to be near.
OK, that should work for now - the fun part is meeting and getting to look in someone's eyes and seeing if there is a real connection!

Meet a soulmate from Alabama, United States. Hello, so what can someone actually say here to grab the attention of another person? That is what I consider to be a mind boggling mystery of the ages. Not sure if words actually reel someone in, a clever person can write themselves up beautifully. Myself, I prefer actions to show character, personality, and value of a person’s being, but how is that possible on a dating website? Besides most people jump through the text and go straight to personal quirks like hobbies, smoker, drinker, religion, and appearance. So does it really matter what is written here. For those that have gotten this far, I’d say yes. So here goes:
I’m interested in meeting someone that enjoys an energetic lifestyle, and filled with fun and laughter. I’m an outdoorsy kind of guy that enjoys outdoor sports and outdoor projects. Biking, hiking, water-sports, snow-skiing, and landscaping define some of my hobbies I enjoy doing. As a way to unwind from a long stressful day I like to do woodworking projects in my garage, plus home renovation projects. I’m in no way a couch potato.
I enjoy spending time with my family, and friends in a social and entertaining environment. I think that time amounts to much more than trying to keep up with the social rat-race with strangers in a bar. I’d like to find someone that would enjoy spending time out, as well as just sitting home having a simple dinner watching TV or a movie, or just vegging on the patio with a nice glass of wine.
It’s strange but I like to look at the humorous side of life, providing my own humor to deal with all the quirky dramatic twists life provides as we get older and mentally hardened. This side of me is part of my everyday life, socially as well as at work. Some say it has a sense of sarcasm mixed in, I say they’re right. Why not challenge the Fuddy-Duddies around us with a little ribbing; they need us to rattle their stuffy and stiff-necked way of thinking. With that said, I’d like to find someone with a similar view and personality as mine. However, just laughing at life isn’t the same as “making the world laugh”, big difference here. I've been blessed with so many opportunities, wonderful friends and family and a daughter that is the absolute apple of my eye. I would say that the only thing I'm missing is somebody to make new memories with.
What do i want in a relationship? Communication, Mutual Respect, Honesty, Affection
If all of those things can come together in a relationship, I think the difficult times will be so much easier.
As I get older, I find more time to enjoy the little pleasures that I used to take for granted. Life is so much more than getting to your destination. I'm finding the journey is actually pretty interesting and recognizing that has been so rewarding!
After my "real" job is over, I spend most evenings starting colts (breaking) and training horses for others. I still workout at home but don't spend time in the gym anymore. Trust me, working with horses can work out every muscle in your body (and a few bones)!
I believe horses can teach you more about yourself than you ever knew and, they are great therapy! (I would say they are cheaper than a therapist, but that isn't always true!) :)

I always try to have something to keep myself busy, but really cherish my role as a devoted Daddy. My little girl is my #1 priority and my greatest blessing! Of course, I love embarassing her when I start doing the "robot" in the middle of the mall!
Evenings, if I have time, I love to sit and veg on some brainless tv every now and then.
Don't worry, I'm not all about horses and cowboy hats.. It's just that those are the only recent pictures I have.
