I want to find a partner in life, that is willing to share coffee or cocktails first. No more games please, (girls / ladies play them too...) someone that can throw a bag in the car and head for the beaches or the mountains in under 30 minutes (ok, you know you actually get more time than that!). Someone that doesn't like to eat at chain restaurants, unless we just have too. Someone that is secure in many ways, that could be alone, but in time, chooses not to be. I have realized that myself. I'm making a conscious choice to find that special someone, that I CHOOSE to spend time with, but not so much that we loose ourselves, but, in the end, complement each other. I'm excited by who I might meet here, aren’t you? I can dress in a suit and tie and have fun at the stuffiest events, or put on jeans and boots, and play in the mud. I love my 16-year-old son, he is my everything! I LOVE ANYTHING OUTDOORS, INCLUDING, GOLF, FISHING, HIKING, HUNTING, CAMPING, OR BOATING. I work hard all week to enjoy the weekend. I love to cook (grill), and eat at new restaurants, and love wine, especially Merlots, Red Zen, and Beaujolais. Love a quality cigar now and then. Favorite city: San Francisco, with Washington D.C. a close second, and Salt Lake City, Tampa, and Boston tied for third. I notice 1) Small tasteful tattoos 2) (because I have 2 sisters...) Designer clothes, shoes, bags,(although they are not required!) and most of all 3) Perfume (ALMOST A REQUIREMENT!)!!!! I don't think anyone can possibly fill up this box, and know the real you or me. I am an avid reader and runner/cross training enthusiast - I believe both hobbies are great for stress release and general well being. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but I'm able to prioritize and manage my time so that other interests/goals are not neglected. I believe that being outdoors, active, and in the sun is the "best medicine" for depression, anger, anxiety, stress, or whatever "ailments" you may think you have :) I attend both Catholic and Non-Denomination services, some Sunday's I go to both (back to back), but I alternate Sundays, if possible - I grew up Catholic but I like the band/free coffee at the Non-Denominational :) Some Sundays, I don't go-yep; I may go for a jog or walk in the morning and feel SUPER guilty when cars drive by. I shout ("I already attended an early service!!)
Weird traits: 1) I can't stand adults cursing in public places, when children are present. I will say something diplomatic...I don't want trouble, but I just have a hard time letting it go. 2) I’m terrified of driving down large mountains, not sure why, but started late in life – so if you live in a mountainous area, be prepared to drive a lot.
I'm stubborn at times, but that can be a benefit in the right circumstances...I keep it as a tool in my mental toolbox kit, to be used only when necessary (physical challenge or an important goal).
I have been divorced for over two years and am eager to build a new relationship based on complimenting each other’s life and supporting each other through the very good times, the normal days, the busy days, and the seldom difficult times.
