If you can dig these things about me then you'll probably dig me. My interests are broad and because of that I can usually connect with lots of different types of people IF the opening is there. I love good music (read REAL music of many different genres: European classical,straight ahead Jazz, conscious HipHop or Neo Soul-Erykah Badu is a personal favorite), a good laugh, good food, an unusual thought and not too cool to go beyond a two step on the dance floor, relearning some skills in the kitchen since being alone again.
In my work life I consult with small businesses with their business process, product development and advertising needs. I enjoy the outlet it gives me for my creative and aggressive sides. I work independently as I have found the traditional corporate world too stifling in many areas. That said I have tremendous respect for people who are able to make the demands of traditional corporate culture work for them.
Relationship wise I'm just now starting to meet new people after a failed marriage. The vast majority of my energy goes into work and my community interests so it hasn't been easy meeting folk who I want to date much less consider a long term relationship with. I'm not legally divorced from my wife yet, but that is a formality to be taken care of in the near future.
I'm a fan of the impromptu and the planned: jogs, lunches, a day in Tuscaloosa or Atlanta or in front of the TV. Treme, Mad Men, Boondocks, History and Science Channel are some favorites.
