Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. Where do I start? My name is Chris. I enjoy keeping in shape, hanging out with my brother, going to movies, etc etc. Just the usual kind of thing guys like. I'm an Auburn graduate so, of course an Auburn fan. I'm an engineer working in Decatur, and I spend all week working hard. I like all kinds of music. I enjoy relaxing at night after work watching TV or reading or working in the yard. On the weekends I spend time with my kids or hang out with my brother. I enjoy going to see live music, whether it be at a bar or a concert hall. During warm weather I spend a lot of time riding my Vulcan 1500 Meanstreak. I'm not into the club or group riding too much, I just enjoy getting out on a Sunday and riding somewhere new. I do enjoy going to games, like a Havok hockey game or a Stars game. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I don't like a lot of drama or complicated situations. I'm a what you see is what you get kind of guy. My son is old enough now to get involved with athletics, so I've been taking time to coach his soccer team and now his basketball team, even though I don't know a lot about soccer. I'm looking forward to doing this as long as they will let me coach because it's been a lot of fun. Anyway, if there's anything else you want to know just ask. I'm 20 minutes from Decatur and 30 from Huntsville.
Just one note...I am not looking for one night stands. I'm 38 not 21 anymore. I'm looking for someone I can be friends with before starting anything serious.
Who would I like to meet?
Well that's a tough question isn't it. I mean we all think we know who we want to meet, but do we really? I've read a lot of profiles and blogs about what kind of person would be ideal as a partner. Really what it comes down to is someone you can trust with anything, that believes in you the way you believe in them. Someone who gets as excited about you as you do about them. I don't need someone to take care of me or fix me or anything else like that. I just want someone to share my life and experiences with. To compliment me by showing me a different perspective sometimes. After that, the small stuff (interests, beliefs) make things interesting. I'm not difficult to get along with. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated. Attraction is, of course, an important part of any relationship, but not the most important part.
I believe in honesty, integrity, and loyalty. I do not nor have I ever done drugs. I smoke a cigarette or a cigar on occasion if I go out, with drinks. I don't drink to excess, and I do not drive drunk. Ever. I've never been in jail, and I pay my taxes. I know that's pretty boring stuff, but I've always considered myself a responsible adult who likes to have fun when he can without getting into a lot of trouble.
