And I’m sorry to say but I just don’t think I would make a good long distance dater, so if you are not within 50 miles of me I doubt we would do very well, I want to meet someone I can see during the week for a drink or dinner or just a casual get together. Like my header line says, I am ready to start a new life with a special woman. I still believe in that fairy tale where we all have a special person out there that God has planned just for us. I consider myself a simple man, church and family are important to me and if I can have a special woman in my life that’s all I’m asking for. I want to build a lasting relationship with to share all that life has to offer. To laugh together, cry together, and share every moment we can together as a couple, working through the tough times as we experience new things together. I do believe there has to be an initial physical attraction between a couple for a relationship to begin and that will open the door to build a strong emotional and committed relationship. Don’t get me wrong, I’m certainly not naive that a person has to have an inner beauty as well, that is just as important, but we both know if you’re not attracted to my physical appearance or I’m not attracted to yours there will not be that initial interest to learn more. And I know for that reason we sometimes pass by some really awesome people. I’ve had opportunities to travel a lot in life and there is still so much more I want to do, so many places I want to see, so many things I want to do, and I’m looking for a lifelong partner to share them with. I want to take a cruise to Alaska one day, I want to travel the New England states in the fall, I want to drive the Alaskan Highway, and I want to travel through the Rocky’s and through the west. Locally I love both the gulf beaches and the Gatlinburg TN area, and if I had to pick I’d head to the mountains any day, especially in the fall of the year. I am a loyal, loving, and compassionate man whole gives 100% percent to a relationship and loves with my whole heart, I want the same from my partner. Family is very important to me and I enjoy doing family things together, I have two boys, my oldest is in the USAF currently in school in Texas and my youngest is a junior at Alabama Christian Academy. I have one grandchild, she is 4 and is adorable, and yes I’m biased. I love to go out to dinner and try new places; Seafood, Mexican and Italian are a few of my favorites. I really enjoy the fall and am a huge SEC football fan, and yes an Alabama fan, but if you are an Auburn fan I am not so obnoxious that we can’t coexist in the fall of the year. I enjoy staying home snuggling up on the sofa with a good movie, and enjoy getting out for a night on the town. I’ve seen The Black Jacket Symphony perform Led Zeppelin IV, and Vince Gill at the MPAC, so my taste in music is pretty varied, anything but rap. I also enjoyed going down to a local oyster bar listening to live music, eating oysters on the half shell and drinking a beer. I love snow skiing, been to Austria skiing and get out to Utah usually once per year. I used to own a Harley Davidson motorcycle and think one day I would like to get another one and do some riding through the Rocky’s and out west. I’m a member of a local church in Prattville and attend service every Sunday and that will be important to me in any future relationship. I’m at a point in my life now that I’m looking to meet that ONE special woman to spend the best half of the rest of my life with. I would love to hear from you and get to know you.
