Date a woman from United States. My husband passed away in 2005 and I have found that doing things alone is not a lot of fun. I am looking for someone to have fun with, have quiet times with, travel with, just enjoy life with, as equals. I like good company, sharing a laugh, sharing a sunset, holding hands, cuddling, just enjoying life. I'm not necessarily looking for a soul mate - but I have learned never to say never and sometimes I think I would like to be in love one more time. I would like to meet someone who enjoys some of the things I do (not necessarily all) - and see what develops. I am not looking for a game player - I try to be honest in everything I do and expect the same from someone I share time with.
The picture was taken in August 2009.
I love animals and have volunteered with rescue groups and am looking for more volunteer opportunities in that field. I do volunteer with the Fire Dept. in our small town - doing flyers, forms, etc. for them.
I enjoy spending time on my laptop and exploring the internet. I also enjoy TV in the evenings - mostly crime shows.
I recently went on a river cruise in Europe - from Amsterdam to Paris. I would love to go on one in Russia or somewhere else in the world, but am looking for someone to do that with me.
I am a casual person - enjoy casual dining and casual living - have rarely been to affairs where "formal" was required - although I can if the opportunity presents itself.
I guess it would be good to mention the absolute deal breakers (red flags): If you are capable of killing an animal, you are not someone I even want to know. And if you are a racist .... well, let me just say, I definitely would not want to spend time with you.
I believe that everything that happens in your life happens for a reason even though I might not be able to see it - but that all my experiences, good or bad, have combined to make me the individual I am today. Life is a journey and I am far from finished with mine - am excited to see what the future has in store.
