Meet someone special from United States. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I have lived in Miami, Florida for 5 years and I am new to Colorado. I would like to meet interesting and nice people to hang out and spend some time with. Then, let's see what happens.
Date single man from United States. Six years ago, I was walking down Pearl St. with two friends from Connecticut, and I told them I wouldn’t mind living in Boulder. For a Chilean like me, having the mountains close by was somehow reassuring; after all, in Chile you are always at the foot of the Andes. When two years later CU offered me a job here in Boulder it took me not time to accept. Besides the mountains, Boulder seemed like the perfect place for me. I grew up in Santiago, a 7 million people city, and then moved to rural Connecticut for grad school. That was quite a shock. The brochure said the university was between Boston and New York. What it did not say is that it wasn’t either Boston or New York! Boulder, on the other hand, seemed like a perfect medium-sized city, with great used bookstores, excellent restaurants, and a weather that let one enjoy a coffee on a patio while reading the book you just bought in the bookstore next door. It is also close enough to a larger city, with amazing museums (my daughter and I love going to the Science Museum, and I am personally impressed by the Denver Art Museum), a decent film festival, amazing beer and more great restaurants and bookstores! All in all, it’s been a great experience living here, and now I am looking someone with whom to share some of these activities. If you are also willing to teach me how to ski, that’s bonus points!
Meet a soulmate from United States. Hello all!- I am a very compassionate, nice, yet sarcastic individual. I am somewhat of a Renaissance Man. I graduated from a prestigious university in the south in '98, taught for a while, and then decided to make a change. I now live in Louisville, CO while studying neuroscience. I am also play music as a hobby. While being new to CO, and busy with a full course load, I have had little time to get out and meet people. So what do you say?
Date a man from Louisville, United States. A description that seems so easy yet is so hard. So do you take the easy way out with a bunch of stiffs writing out the perfect bio. I think not. So first off, I am a father, if thats not ok with you, please do not apply. I do not exercise daily, I don't fly a plane, I don't take vacations weekly. I am a hard working father with responsibilities. I enjoy some hobbies, which may change and am not obsessed with them by any means. These include but are not limited to: 4wheeling with atv's camping, fishing, diesel trucks, bio fuels, bbq's cooking, eating, spending time outdoors, friends, stuff kids like to do, football, baseball games, bowling, shooting and Tv.
I am honest, loving, caring, funny, and loyal, clever and a little shy sometimes, just to name a few.
I am looking to turn over a new page in my life and find someone to share it with. Could you be the one?
Meet someone special from Louisville, United States. I'm just a guy looking for a chill lady to enjoy life with.
I'm motivated, well educated, successful and fun to be around. I enjoy adventurous travels and look forward to the weekends. I live a simple life and keep my baggage to a minimum. My life is stress free and I really want to keep it that way so please move on if you consider yourself a project. I eat organic and workout often.
My ideal match would be a woman who for one is single. Although I'm flattered by invitations for threesomes with your friends or husband but my parents raised me well with morals and I'm just not into to those things. I'm looking for someone who wants to be in a relationship and has an interest in wedding bells at some point. I am very much attracted to well educated woman who are witty and confident. My favorite look for a woman is plain old jeans and a t-shirt.
I have future plans of living in Hawaii at least part of the year to fulfill my fantasy of an adult Johnny Quest. I see myself snorkeling, scuba diving and sailing around the islands for a portion of each summer. I am in the middle of downsizing my life, schedule and personal belongings to hopefully achieve my Hawaii goes within the next few years. I had a friend pass away recently and now I am more conscious about living life. I just want to be happy and live low key from here on out.
If you feel we might connect then feel free to give me a shout.....
Cheers
Date a man from Louisville, United States. Nothing too serious, too quickly. Not looking to race into, "I'm your boyfriend."-"I love you."
I like the idea of being ok with things the way they really are below the surface, and allowing a little time to get to know things on that level.
Ideally I am looking for someone interested in, or at least open to the idea of Tantra-tantric Sacred Sexuality, Taoist Healing Love-Esoteric Yoga. I love to learn and am drawn to the hidden less obvious aspects of things. I have explored many practices and teachings and in my opinion the greatest and most powerful of these involves mastery of the sexual energy.
I am seeking someone interested in first establishing a friendship and closeness. Then, if the proper chemistry is present, to explore that friendship and closeness further and to share in this practice with me.
Meet single man from Louisville, United States. Greetings, and thanks for reading my profile.
Here's the skinny about me: I am a singer-songwriter, psychotherapist, and a father. And I absolutely love all three roles.
As a musician I sing, play guitar, write songs, make CDs, and perform. My music is in the Americana/singer-songwriter world, and I've performed the National Anthem at a couple Rockies games. And as that dream continues to take shape, I make my living as a psychotherapist, and at least half of the clients in my private practice are kids. So I play. A lot. And laugh. A lot. I studied at Berkeley and Naropa, so I tend to like smart, politically progressive people; self awareness is a total turn-on.
I am amicably divorced and I spend half the time parenting my outrageously cool 6-year old daughter. And while I have gotten okay with the idea of not having more kids, I would also do it again in a heart beat.
I exercise regularly, and last fall completed my first half-marathon. I discovered that the golf course is kinder to my knees, and I find peace on a good fly fishing stream. The club scene doesn't interest me and I don't drink anymore, but have no trouble being around those who do. I can still get my groove on and remain convinced that I have some pretty sweet moves, despite what those pictures on facebook imply. Happiness for me often comes through simple things: strong black coffee, live music, taking my daughter to the Butterfly Pavilion, digging in my vegetable garden, and knowing I have a delicious meal in my crock pot. Yes, I cook. And do the laundry. And while I confess to accidentally shrinking a few garments over the years, in my defense they usually weren't mine.
In the immortal words of Julie Andrews, these are a few of my favorite things: American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter, Memento, Inception, Thomas Crown Affair, On Golden Pond, Million Dollar Baby, Paul Simon, The Grateful Dead, Ryan Adams, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Darrell Scott, Cat Stevens, Ray Lamontagne, REM, Mumford And Sons, The Decemberists, The Civil Wars, Led Zeppelin, Patty Griffin, Tom Robbins, Michael Connelly, Lee Child, Wayne Dyer, John Demartini, Thich Nhat Hanh, and the Dalai Lama. And after I'm done hanging out with all of them...
Enough about me, let's talk about you, dear match.
You are fun, self-aware, and intelligent. You are fit and athletic, but don't need hours in front of the mirror before going out. You can go through an entire meal without checking your phone. You like to be outdoors, and won't let a little rain or snow deter your running/hiking/biking/fishing/camping plans. You like kids and can stand to be around your family. You feel a connection to Spirit. You are politically progressive and don't watch Fox News. In fact you don't watch much TV at all, except perhaps for a little sports. Especially the Seattle Mariners. You love them. Even when they lose 100 games a season. Which they do. Regularly.
You are clever and playful, and can get excited about an evening of board games. You love music and your favorite songs can move you to tears. You like to dance. You are conscientious and open to love. You are clever, creative, and will sometimes wear a skirt. And in the garden you pair that skirt with a big floppy hat. And sunglasses.
If you like Jon Stewart and the Daily Show, you get bonus points. If you like the Grateful Dead you gain even more. If you hate them both but know how to play cribbage, it's a wash.
And If you now realize that I'm not your cup of tea, I hope you find the connection you're looking for. Happy browsing.
Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I moved to Denver in 1998 and I have been having a great time here since I love to ski and have fun with others. The fun things I like to do are to go up in the mountains and enjoy the small mountain towns and ski, I also enjoy going to Hockey Games, and other professional sporting events.
Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. I consider myself optimistic person. Enjoy watching movies, going to concerts, visiting new places, outdoors activities - running, hiking, skiing, playing soccer. I keep a busy work schedule, but always try to find time for something fun, it can be live music, art show, etc. I would like to meeting someone clever, independent, who enjoys life. Good sense of humor is a plus. Someone who likes to travel, explore all sorts of things, and, does not look at life too seriously.
Date a man from Alabama, United States. Hi -
I’m another transplant to the wonderful state of Colorado - we are what makes this place fun! Originally from North Carolina, I am on my second time around out here – back in CO since 2004. New adventures are what I strive for and think that the experiences we share throughout life provide the greatest fun and lasting memories.
My friends describe me as friendly, good personality, optimistic, laid back and fun to be around. I have a young spirit with the mindset that “age is only a state of mind”. I thoroughly enjoy all types of outdoor activities (backpacking, snowboarding, river rafting, disc golf, etc.), going to see live music (jam bands and other soulful music), but also enjoy cooking up a tasty dinner and chilling to a good movie. Volunteering for environmental initiatives to help do my part to save the Earth is also important to me and I would absolutely be into traveling more abroad. Have the work hard – play harder mentality.
Overall, I am interested in meeting someone who is friendly and kind, intelligent, likes the outdoors, cute smile, is or wants to be environmental conscious, is always open and honest, has a good soul, knows who she is, isn’t complacent with the norm and has compassion for living life to its fullest. I am looking for a girl who can get dirty backpacking in the mountains or get crazy at a music festival and the next weekend can dress up for a nice dinner and a play.
Seems like I keep running into the same people in my normal circles. The online dating arena is new to me, but I thought it would be worth a shot to look around to see what all is out there. Want to try something new and have lot's of fun?
Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. I'm an honest and upfront man who enjoys both the finer things in life along with the local greasy spoon. I like stupid comedies along with brainy dramas.
I'm looking for a stress free relationship based on trust and a zest for life.
