Date men and women from Alabama, United States. I'm simply looking for a woman who by definition is not crazy... I don't deal with unnecessary drama for very long. Someone who has the ability to not only recognize when something should be appreciated, but then actually shows appreciation would be much appreciated. I would love to find someone who doesn't consider the world to revolve around them... empathy is important, as is intellect and a passion to learn. I dislike when the word "like" is repeatedly used solely becuase I feel that displays their limited vocabulary. I don't really care to hear about how many past lives a person has had, or how many colors or spirits they see surrounding me. Ignorance is supposedly bliss, but there are certain things a person should not be ignorant about in my opinion... such as thinking ignorance is bliss. I like when a woman can put themselves together well when needed, but doesn't feel they need to dazzle themselves up all the time. I enjoy women who have their own opinions, and don't simply repeat what has been heard. Though not when that opinion is the only one that matters. So an open mind is crucial for me. Along with being opinionated, I would prefer someone who is soft spoken. So I suppose softly speaking your opinion is best for me. They say those that make their point by noise and command simply show their argument is weak... and I agree entirely with that statement.
As for me... I am looking for someone to spend time with. I'd like to meet a woman who would be willing to travel with me as that has become one of my passions. I enjoy quiet evenings but revel in the opportunity to do something special together. Sitting at home, as nice as it is, eventually becomes boring. I have a love of literature and hope to find someone to share that with. I am a caring person who wouldn't hesitate to provide a helping hand if possible. I am very up beat and motivated, though when lethargy sets in, I would like a woman who could set the fire under my ass rather than sit and sulk with me. My interests are varied, and new ones arise often so a woman who could perhaps share in my interests, as i'm willing to share in theirs, would make me happy. I'm also the funniest guy I know, which helps becuase I love to make people smile. So a nice smile and agreeable laugh would go a long way.
As mentioned before, I enjoy a good conversation and especially a healthy debate. But a fair forewarning, I am quite capable of playing devils advocate if I feel the other side of the story is not being told or understood. Even if I don't agree with it. It's not that I like to argue, but there's no way to properly understand anything unless you view it from all possible angles. An enormous pet peeve of mine is either a one sided conversation, or worse yet... when you listen intently only to find that the other can't repay you the same respects. If I notice a person obviously not listening after I've patiently heard their bit, I often start speaking gibberish until they realize the story has all of a sudden turned into penguins sand skating on laser blades. They'll act confused, and probably think i'm mental, but if you can't pay attention when a spoken word is directly hitting your eardrum... don't be surprised to hear a fanciful tale of me defeating the dreadful PacMan king by Nom Noming all the pretty dots faster than he. True story... I also have a huge disdain for people who constantly have to check their phone... as if their Hollywood agent might have finally found them that big role they've been yearning for all these years. I just find it to be disrespectful is all... and it's during these times i'll start telling my fictitious adventures.
