Physical Fitness and nutrition are incredibly important to me. I discovered weight lifting in Iraq (yep, I'm a combat vet) and I really can't explain what all it has given me. The principles it has taught me, the dedication and discipline it has required and the results I have seen have given me a quality of life and a confidence I did not have prior.
I consider myself to be intelligent. I really respect someone who can add substance to a conversation and who seeks to expand their own understanding of this crazy little world of ours.
Right now I'm planting my feet in the professional world and launching a career in the criminal justice system. Just in case you were curious.
More about myself? I graduated from UA in 2009 and am a DIEHARD alabama football fan. On the weekends I enjoy a dark beer or a whiskey and coke. I work hard and play hard. I live life with no regrets, just funny stories, fond memories and lessons learned hard. Even though I love to weight lift, watch football, drink beer and other manly things, I am, in secret, a nerd. I think I want a woman that can cook. Most of the women I know can't or can just barely. I grew up in a traditional family and my mother, grandmothers and aunts did nearly all the cooking and I find it baffling that my generation has a hard time browning hamburger meat. I can cook. I cook nearly every meal I eat. and when I FINALLY find someone I'm definitely going to cook for her. I think it's affectionate and thoughtful personally.
So I'm not entirely sure why I chose to get on Match. For a pretty confident guy I have the most difficult time meeting anyone. I'm usually not the first to speak to someone new and I don't really open up to strangers. That's probably why. I've dated two girls I would have called my "girlfriend" since I was 18 and combined those lasted about 4 months. So match.com here I go.

im not a religious person. i do consider myself Christian but i dont go to church or take the bible literally. i havent had the best experience with a "church family" and feel entirely out of place when i go. so i dont. And dont care to. i know whats right and wrong, i have a set of values i live my life by and so far they havent done me wrong.
so what am i looking for in a girl? an open mind, intellect, takes care or her body, enjoys a drink or two. i want a girl who knows when to be wild and adventurous and when to be responsible. i need a girl who can be a little bit nerdy when its just us and can dress to kill when she wants to.
