Date a man from Alabama, United States. Thanks for taking time to check out my profile. I've lived in Delta since late 2008. It's a pretty quiet place, so I'm glad I have my 4-wheeler and motorcycle. Now all I need is a passenger! I'm a pretty laid-back guy, and I don't like noisy, smoke-filled places, so no bar scenes for me. I work in an environmentally-related field. I enjoy travel, weekend getaways, renting a movie, grilling out, photography, riding my motorcycle (a road bike), and escaping to the mountains to hike, photograph, or explore. I'm tired of the game-players and would like to meet someone who actually wants to meet someone nice. I am looking for someone who enjoys the outdoors. Classy but not high maintenance. She should be warm, honest, passionate, intelligent, and affectionate. Someone who enjoys travel, romance, weekend getaways to anywhere or nowhere, staying in to watch a movie, or going out to somewhere that isn't smoke-filled or loud.

Meet a man from United States. What a long, strange trip it has been. Plans are important but what you are doing today is your life. The good times make it worthwhile; the bad times define you. Somehow I've been defined as a peacemaker with frequent personality descriptions of "smart","witty" and "dependable". It should be taken with a grain of salt since a lot of the people I work with are 20 or more years younger and are just starting their careers. On the other hand, I hang out with people my own age and they have the same observations.
After years of twisting in the wind (did I mention a few bad times), I so appreciate living in an area I love, in a house I enjoy. Other than a few vacations to explore new places, I really am a homebody wondering why the flowers in my garden grow so slow while the weeds grow so fast. There is enough to do around here to keep me amused.
On a day to day basis, I really am rather distractable. Whatever I am doing, I'll probably be doing something different in a few hours. At least I've learn to plan my day accordingly. I don't know how many invitations I've turned down from biking buddies to pedal to Durango or the front range simply because doing one thing for that long does not appeal to me. The good news is if you ever need a last second errand run, I would like the change of pace.

So, what am I looking for? In a nut shell..a Mary Ann as opposed to a Ginger. The kind of lady who wants to be intellectually challenged, but can be very simple at her core. Fun companionship… (Ok, I can hear you now ”Who isn’t looking for fun companionship?”) But for me it goes deeper…I want to laugh with my partner when she’s not trying to be funny. I want to look back at an evening spent together where we really didn’t do anything spectacular and think (or say out loud �cause sometimes I talk to myself) WOW, that was fun, I can’t wait to see her again. A lady who will answer the question “How was your day?” with a thoughtful response, because she knows that I really want to know. .
I do travel all over Western Colorado and into west Denver (Littleton, Lakewood, Confier, Englewood, etc.) for my job, so distance is not a real important factor for me. And to be fair in the interest of full disclosure, I do love my Green Bay Packers!
